America Has Lost the War on Iran

As I have said many times before, it is too early to make any such declaration of victory for either side. Neither Iran nor USA can say this until the final solution is agreed upon, and even then it is likely both sides will have partial success in pursuit of their own respective national interests.

In today's official Hajj message, Mojtaba Khamenei stated that "the unstable Zionist regime and the cancerous tumor of Israel has approached the final stages of its CURSED existence."

He cited a decade-old prediction by his late father on September 9th, 2015, that Israel would not survive another 25 years, aka 2040.

The message credits the second imposed war on Iran aka the 12 Day War, in which Iran "brought the Zionist regime to its knees under devastating blows and struck a hard slap against transgressing America," as proof the timeline is on track.

On America, he declared that Iran had already "cut off the hands and feet of greedy, arrogant America from the country and COMPLETELY severed Zionist influence." He added that America "will no longer have a safe point for mischief or the establishment of military bases in the region," distancing itself "day by day from its former position."

He did not say Israel is weakening. He said the countdown is already running. And he did not frame America's retreat as a future goal. He declared VICTORY.

It's a perfect opportunity to hit the UAE pipeline that bypasses the Strait and push up oil prices. It will also demonstrate that the US can attack but not defend the GCC and that US bases are in reality liabilities.

Once the deployed American assets move away, Iran is fully capable of reneging on any 'agreement' to enrich Uranium to whatever degree, to blocking the Strait whenever Iran would want to, and to launch its missiles whenever it would be threatened.

Or, as in, define win?
US didn't invade Iran to get the straits opened or get the world oil choked. Yet here we are... and other than high seas or mad rush for corpses the status quo changed.
Or, He can market lifting his blockade of the blockade as a win. Because Iran certainly didn't have strategic power over the gulf and US was sitting pretty... now those bases are in smokes and ships in high seas or the tankers in ben gurion... knowing that even there they're not safe.
Unless you envision D day redux on the beaches of Iran with millions in tow, it is over.
