This ceasefire is a joke
Hamas has accepted the status quo where Israel has free reign to kill Hamas leaders and commit massacres in Gaza without a response because if Hamas responds then Israel will slaughter hundreds more civilians
In the best case scenario, Hamas is using this period to absorb blows and reorganise in the background like Hezbollah did in 2025
But that is much harder to do in tiny Gaza (the 40% of it which Israel does not occupy) than Lebanon

Unfortunately if they respond Israel will commit dozens of massacres in one day killing 100+ civilians at a minimum
Hamas has to absorb these strikes for sake of civilians
And Hamas is also having trouble reorganizing in these conditions. The situation is very dire across Gaza and more landlocked than before. Nothing is coming in. Just attempting to reinforce existing defense posture.

Many years ago I used to think naively that Palestinians and israelis could live next to each other in two state solutions.

Israel spent 2 years running an elaborate lobbying campaign to have Hamas added to this UN sex-abuse blacklist, making the case that the UN designation was thorough, evidence-based and widely respected, which was why it was so important for them to get Hamas added to it.
