Taliban Wants To Build Afghanistan’s Air Defenses With Russia’s Help

Who pays for your acquisitions??? Afghans will find out something similar....
They cannot do international transactions nor anyone can pay on their behalf due to various sanctions you id**t unless Indians dispatch their third grade air defense systems via Russia. Though I won't mind that as it will be a nice drills for our rookies to target as practice.

If it wasnt for a certain party, we would have maintained our good ties with ukraine and not tried to play a balancing act with Russia, ukraine was our ally, has been our ally and has supported us EVERY TIME when needed, even continuing to provide rd93 support, to this day.
I think Russia never stopped JF-17 engines. Ukrainian helped us with tanks and other heavy machinery like trucks, tractors, etc

However, there is no permanent 'ally' or supplier. I remember once Ukraine (2010 or so) blatantly said that it has ceased cooperation with Pak and wants to increase its partnership with India.

probably.
but if a passive system shot down F35, don't count on that. There can be a gap, and an F-16 can be shot down.
The last thing I want is for an F16 record to be broken by PAF against IEA manpads or so.

That's true, so our response should be to target any A.D as a matter of priority

Afghanistan is already starving they don't have the money to buy and run A.D of any significance

This will present multiple holes to target and we must be quick to target them

The afghani are scum they are acting stupid and but they can't be allowed to act too stupid

i suspect IEA will be sending fighters to the meat grinder in exchange for this stuff... Russia is desperately low on manpower...

good opportunity to start funneling more into ukraine.

This is also an excellent opportunity for us to collaborate with Ukraine in regards to our drone programs.

They are good bcz of Starlink, and effective bcz of NATO intel inputs. Still, they can teach some tactics.
Just consider the reasons why are C400 AKG was effective against S400!

Had to check it was not 1st April when I saw this headline. These clowns struggle keeping choppers in the air and oprating T-54 tanks. Now they think they can be seasoned S-400 radar operators.

I say let Russia sell them sensitive gear, it will be a matter of days, not weeks, till ISI pays off the right people for intel or even transporting entire units to Pakistan

keep draining that so-called economy of yours, soon to be in tatters when you guys implode from within.
You can't even deal with issues in 7 sister states as well as many others who're arming up and fighting your own army for independence.

Simply censoring media won't hide the issues underneath. But sure keep draining your economy by paying for shit that won't show up. LOL

Russia will gladly take your money and deliver in few years, lol. Right now they need everything against nato/ukraine.....

Most of Pakistani air defences and air defence radars currently orioriented towards India.

Thousands of Unmanned drones of various types would be the most cost effective assymetrical deterrent that Afghanistan can build up against any future Pakistani attacks on Afghan soil.

Atleast our passengers travel peacefully on trains and we can open a thread on Indian railways.... our pride palace on the wheels... your pride Jaffer express....

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) possesses approximately 155 active JF-17 fighters, out of roughly 170 to 185 total units produced for their fleet. The vast majority of Pakistan's current operational fleet is powered by Russian-designed engines, though a transition to Chinese powerplants is under evaluation.

Time has come to move away from the Russian engine. It would be madness to rely on Russian engines for the JF-17.

Russia will always be serving Indian interests. Pakistan needs to move away from Russia as much as possible.
