Many of our own people in Pakistan are pathetic when they come across white westerners. You can see it by any youtube vlogger how our people go too far with mehman nawazi.
I've witnessed this myself.
A few years ago during my final few days of a memorable holiday to Pakistan I went to Islamabads Faisal Masjid with my relatives (no holiday to Pakistan can be fulfilled without visiting the nations monuments and religious places of worship). It was a wonderful memorable experience, the nostalgia effect that hits you when alone on a dark miserable rainy day in the UK.

While walking the marble floors after isha prayers, during the cool summer night with a gentle breeze I could hear families gathering, laughter and pure joy as the atmosphere was calm and friendly. Islamabad was lit up as far as the eye could see. Suddenly there was a commotion, an air of excitement and chatter whereby a dozen or so Pakistanis gathered around certain bodies. From a distance i could not see who these people where so I initially assumed they may have been famous Pakistani personalities or cricketers. I got closer to see and it was a young European couple travelling which drew all the attention. Our people were acting as though they had met angels, taking selfies and shaking hands. I walked away baffled and continued to admire Islamabads beauty. You can guess I regularly bring this experience up around the dinner table during family dawats...
