The two demands that proved non-negotiable and led to the collapse of the talks were:

Abolition of Elite Privileges: The insistence on eliminating the expensive perks, luxuries, and privileges enjoyed by AJK ministers, lawmakers, and bureaucrats.

Removal of Refugee Seats: The termination of the 12 reserved seats in the AJK Assembly for Kashmiri migrants settled in Pakistan.

I absolutely find little wrong with all of the demands except the last one - but if that was “likely” being abused then it makes perfect sense.

However, bearing in mind how AJk is also a Nooni soft heart location and this is all about “you scratch my back I scratch yours” in this current situation - figures

If you want my honest opinion. Joint Action committe is causing alot of issues aswell, the AJK Government has been reasonable with them, accepted many of the demands but demands like abolishing 12 Refugee Seats is not right, yes maybe Pindi uses these seats to control AJK but even if these seats are abolished, Joint Action Committe will still protest against AJK Government since they don't like PPP and Pmln rulers, so we will be back to square one. I recently went to someone house for dua, all PTI guys were sitting with some Salafis/Ahle Hadith/Jamat Dawah type of guys, all were claiming that soon Pmln PPP Army leadership will leave Pakistan on planes, they still aim to topple the generals, Joint Action Committe maybe serious but they need to take action against those are trying to exploit this situation, PTI, JD, and Kashmiri Nationalist egging each other on. They must consider innocent people will die, they will then blame everything on the government and government will blame it on army (behind the scenes). The politicians are cunning, will point fingers at Pindi for the tough action which will lead to killings.

Pakistan establishment/Army/Pindi must understand this situation, killing people will not solve the issue. PPP and Pmln are favourites at the moment, why dont these parties start counter demonstrations, bring their followers out if any otherwise these same parties behind the scenes will blame Army for the killing or Pakistan government. This will lead to long term hatred, just like in KPK and Balochistan.

Yes maybe the 12 seats are being misused or influenced but these people still have the right, its like saying overseas Pakistanis have no vote but majority of the youth support overseas voting. This demand must not be accepted. The other about airport is a question mark, are they demanding airport for direct UK to Mirpur flights, or will PIA start a local flight from Islamabad to Mirpur, the time will be similar, with waiting time etc included. The rest of the demands should be fine and I think government accepted them, but will they implement them is a question mark.

After the protests the government has finally completed the bridge which connects Mirpur to Chakwari over the Mangla Dam, this project was started around 2006 2009 time, construction started 2011 and till 2026 its still not opened. For like 11 years the bridge was like this, the government would not complete it, even PTI government didnt finish it.

The basic problem is our people don't really understand democracy

They make demands without understanding that many of those demands are unreasonable to a state

Their are plots and plans that are almost seditious, ANP for example

The state cannot allow this endless chaos and it's tiresome watching these chaotic local politics

Any party that causes Panic, chaos, violence is a cancer. I dont know much about AJK but who ever generally do this is better to be banned rather than people loses there life and safety. That is why I like Arab countries generally UAE, KSA, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, and Beharin where there is no nonsense of this kind and no protest.

Any party that causes Panic, chaos, violence is a cancer. I dont know much about AJK but who ever generally do this is better to be banned rather than people loses there life and safety. That is why I like Arab countries generally UAE, KSA, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, and Beharin where there is no nonsense of this kind and no protest.

And the threat is we will block roads, cause chaotic protests and force a strong reaction by police which we will then use to whip up public sentiment

Pakistan doesn't have a fair political system so that's why we see the protests now. Let's not forget how armed people took away ballot boxes and shut down voting to the present lot came into power.

There is no fair political system anywhere in the world. It is always House Of Card. You must watch the show as it is based on reality and how crule politics is. I mean the main guy in the series littery was ready to kill his own wife to show himself victim.
