Indian Air Force News and Discussions ll

he side which is winning a war does not call up the side which is loosing the war.
exactly.

you were losing big time..which is why you begged for a cease fire.

so when are you unpausing operation Tandoor.?

am sure you are used to listening to such fairy tales from your armed forces.

they are pretty accurate.

unfortunately for you ... no body believed your stories.

interesting to see what they do here now. No one really expects any deliveries anymore and on paper they have 180 signed for but barely 34 of the basic MK1 in service.

Neither HAL nor IAF can politically get away with saying it is a dead duck or terminated, so basically we are just seeing a Zombie programme, alive in name only with the occasional press release about some test here or there or a screw being integrated in part of a wing assembly with a celebration to go with it.

as predicted 2 years ago, my guess is they will keep the two MK1 squadrons as show ponies just like the regiment of Arjun tanks they have as a display unit so no one can claim the project failed.

My guess is we will see 4-5 planes delivered over the next 2 years and the project is done.
Forget MK1A and forget MK2. Its over.

They will now attempt AMCA

I posted verbatim quote from your ISPR..that it was Pakistani DGMO who called Indian DGMO on May 10th.

Here read it again ..this time from Reuters

"Following India's request for a call after carrying out military attacks in Pakistan between May 6 and 7, and on the intervention of international interlocutors, Pakistan responded on May 10 to the earlier made request, said Pakistan's military spokesman"

You must have reading issues, who contacted who first? After the thrashing the IAF received on 7 May you were already begging for a ceasefire.
