Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

But they did It in Gaza. And they're doing also in Lebanon. So that would do if they could also in Tehran.

Please don't be maliciously tolerant of the Israeli regime.

I am not tolerant of any war, regardless. It is abhorrent to me by its very nature.

As if they could lol Tehran's metropolitan area is 730km², while Gaza is barely 45km².

Exactly my point. Iran is a huge and formidable adversary. Anybody can claim to be able to flatten Tehran, but is is not realistically achievable.

That is why the solution to the present conflict lies in negotiations, and not in an endless tit-for-tat cycle of attacks and counter-attacks. Those will achieve nothing for either side.

Gaza Strip is 365km^2

Tehran province (not just the city) is 18,800km^2

The city itself as you say is 730km^2, twice the size of the entire Gaza Strip

Not to mention the massive difference in delivering munitions to Gaza vs a target 1500km away

And Iran itself is over 90 million strong. No one can destroy Iran, that is clear.

War is always concluded by negotiations when the involved parties believe that no further progress can be made and either one side has been defeated or the war has reached a stalemate but in this case, neither of the sides think that way yet.

The US and Israel think they can get everything they want with more pressure and Iran doesn't seem to be willing to concede everything it has too easily, which is why we are going to witness more skirmishes between Iran, Israel and the US before something changes either in Iran or the US.

In that case, a forum discussing war and potential conflict is an odd place to spend a lot of time, don't you think?

No, it is logical. Or do you mean to say only warmongers are allowed to post here?

Bro
Netanyahu is out of control. IMO - Not listening to the orange man.
Even hes had enough of the this bastard.

That is what I think, behind closed doors there will be a massive rupture.

US consumers are feeling the pain, Nasdaq this morning is in meltdown and Republicans know they are gonna get crucified in the mid terms.

Netanyahu led Trump down this path telling him it will be quick. This is now turning out worse then Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan for the effect it has on US prestige and power.

If it were not for Jewish lobby Trump with have dumped Israel on day 3 of this war.
Trump now realising the cost here.

I think we all knew that at some point Israel's relationship with the US would rupture, especially as most young Americans now consider Israel a threat to world peace. I think we may now see the start of that rupture.

Agreed. We can take the present scenario as nothing more than trying to build up the best negotiating position by both sides.

Not sure, seems like this attack may not have had US backing, for sure the Americans would not have physically stopped the Israelis, but looks like no logistics support. Mind you we can only guess I suppose, last time flightradar was full of US tankers in the region, no nothing is in the air

You are probably right. So far, doesn't seem like the USAF support like it was prior to the April ceasefire and that limits Israel's options.
I don't think Americans are fully behind this latest attack on Iran. In last two months, Iran has learned even more lessons and prepared better to face the Goddamn mad dog Netanyahu would is arrogant enough to attack on his own.

The city of Gaza is barely 45km². The Gaza strip is the equivalent of the Tehran Province, not the metropolitan area of Tehran.

The metropolitan area of Tehran is 16 times larger than the metropolitan area of Gaza. The province of Tehran is more than 50 times larger than the Gaza Strip.

The metropolitan population of Tehran is 9 million, while the province of Tehran has 16 million residents. Gaza on the other hand has 2 million people.

I am sure the 3% of Pakistani's surveyed who viewed Israel in a positive light were all alt accounts of Solomon. :ROFLMAO:

Trump knows he has leverage here, he is a negotiator. Aid, arms, logistics, intelligence, missile defence. US can stop all of these
