AJK govt bans Joint Awami Action Committee, notification issued

Is locking up political workers and using violence against protestors democratic? Do you even realise that is what started the violence? The state started arresting workers to prevent the planned protests on the 9th taking place. People protested against the arrests, the state got violent - the state got taught a lesson in its own language.

The state is not a holy cow. It exists to serve the people.

Absolutely it's democratic, if they are breaking laws, causing chaos and it's threat to the stability of the state

And as a Kashmiri I fully support a governor clamp down on these haramis causing fassad

As we are talking about democracy

Let me tell you democracy doesn't work for Pakistan

Our awam is too stupid jahil violent

Democracy just means chaos, and chaotic system were parties just revolve around with supporters being cult members more then a electorate

What we need for Pakistan is a one party system so we can actually implement policy over the long term and start transforming Pakistan without donkey politics getting in the way,

This system is chaotic and we can't have this chaos every year

They think if they have democracy they will become Denmark overnight :ROFLMAO:

Namak harams want the freedom to take money from the enemy to do their dirty work. They don't like fauji accountability and danda.

First thing is Pak never had proper functioning democracy secondly the last 78 years have proven that everything else which have been tried including Martial law have failed to deliver. These are absolute facts regardless of where your loyalties are. People need basic need and just and functioning society, if they had one they wouldn't care whatsoever the God damn system is called. Period.

These idiots think we are Switzerland, with a intelligent and informed electorate

What we are is a largely jahil awam who are thick as shit, don't understand the basics of governance, are easily manipulated and led especially by local ethnocentric idiots
And their demands tend to be moronic

And if you don't accept they will embrace violence and terrorism and victim mentality

And these fcukwits are supposed to get a DEMOCRACY????

Let's sort this shit out, just enforce a one party system for a few years so we can try to get around this chaos

We have had a CHAOTIC hybrid system

Every few years we have had different parties of system, that can keep going on

We need stability away from the jahilat of the awam,

Anyone who thinks OUR AWAM is smart enough to understand how a state is run, how economicw work, what their rights and responsibilities are etc

Is a MORON

End this donkey game atleast for a solid 20 years

Hasina in Bangladesh was hated but at least she was able to bring stability during autocratic rule

My benchmark is literacy rate needs to be atleast 90% before we can even consider having a democratic system.

Voters look for the symbol of the party to vote for because they can't f**king read. They can't digest the data or analyse performance of all the parties so they can make a rational decision. Just word of mouth and jibberish from social media videos.

Let's say we all agree to hybrid or even military rule, which will be a HARD state as some people want it to be. The problem is people of Pakistan do not accept this, what are security forces going to do, repeat of 1971 and winner takes control. We already have jahalat, hatred, corruption, bribery, nepotism at alarming levels and instead of working towards uniting the nation, bringing peace, stability, Brotherhood, educate the people on how nations are built etc, we are encouraging violence and crackdowns. These protesters have network, people who stay in touch with them, build small networks and over the years they find a common ground, why our state fails to counter this, instead our rulers are living in mansions and live a lavish life style, they consider people as lower class, similar to how the British considered them.

Let's be realistic its not working, we have issues in KPK, Balochistan, Sindh, and now Kashmir (its not as bad as it looks yet), and governments have no answer. Our rulers need to FIX this or resign.

It's democratic to arrest people who are organising a protest, before the protest has taken place?

If your state is destabilised by political protest, then it has no right to exist. It's a failed project.

Peaceful protest sir. We are just lynching patients in hospitals, nothing major.

Who knows who is behind these masks. We have seen many such incidents.

90% is good level, plus dont forget literacy rate doesnt alone fix this, the right type of education is important aswell. In Pakistan ideological parties fail but personality following type of parties become success. Educated people follow ideological parties, parties with long term vision for the nation.

This is normal in Pakistan, midnight raids, kidnapping, fake cases. I always say this leads to long term distrust and hatred. Our governments must work towards winning the hearts and minds of the people, i am not saying dont do anything but most of their effort must be towards that.

We have had 5 military dictators. 33 years of direct military rule, 3 years now of hybrid dictatorship. Our first 9 years were under "technocratic setup" with unelected leaders.

45 years if dictatorship - what do they have to show for it? Our economy has always been trash, our literacy rate is ~50%, Ayub Khan dismantled our private industry, Zia ul Haq spread islamic extremism and jihadi culture, Musharraf whitewashed all the people he kicked out, got rid of all their cases and let them back into power, just to be president for a short while.

They have proven themselves already to be abject failures. They've failed at everything they've tried. Why repeat the same patterns?!
