US attacking Iranian water is a proper act of unrestrained war. This crosses a certain line and Iran not responding with similar level of attack would only invite atrocities. Guess everyone should fill their car up or buy an EV.

What is Irans problem in hitting the source of the problem? Its stategy is flawed as neither the USA or Israel care about the "immediate destruction of Saudi, Qatari, Kuwaiti, Bahraini, and Emirati'S at all" ...

The problem is that Iran is a non-nuclear state which cannot take on two of the world's most powerful nuclear states. Not only Iran, no other country in the world except for China and Russia can take on both the US and Israel at the same time, while every one of our neighbors is either fully controlled by the US or under the influence of the US.

Iran needs to play the madman but because it lacks nuclear deterrence, our attacks are restricted to either propaganda moves or hitting countries of equal status (i.e. Arabs in the Persian Gulf).

My biggest issue is that we failed to control the Strait of Hormuz. There's no excuse for this one.

I don't understand the arrogance, bullying small nations after economically suffocating them for 50 years.
In my lifetime I've never seen US taking on someone of same size, US always go after small weak nations who can't fight back and irony is they feel proud of it, Iraq, Afghanistan, Venezula, Libya, nothing to be proud of. And US was expecting same with Iran, but Iran didn't fold like others, and everyone except some ultra-nationalists know US has been humiliated by Iran.

And about going all in, I think US already has used up whatever it had set aside for Iran, they tried everything, 13000+ strikes, destroyed civil/infrastructure, bridges, schools, killed children.
If US still has more, then why it is not using it? Why is it letting US economy and World economy going to doom when it can easily stop it? Granted US still has exponentially more weapons at hand, but they are low on stand-offs, once they are done with the stand off weapons, they will have to fly over Iranian airspace, then we will start to see more jets going down.

I guess you missed the fact that both the US and Israel HAVE been flying deep penetration missions over Iran. IIRC, the Israelis conducted a strike approx. 35 clicks from the Iran-Pak border.

Seriously, some of you have really got to let go of the idea that all the US and Israel are doing is using standoff munitions.

I don't get this common refrain...
Iran is being pretty methodical. It is not overreacting and persistent... they have very skillfully undone the posture in the region... with very targeted fire... and limiting casualties... meaning they have contained both political fallout and maximized materiel losses... while letting everyone know that they could've done more...
Now everyone would want maximum damage and maximum US losses... however waht are the Iranian goals?
End the Imperial presence in the region...? They're tackling that better than anyone would give them credit for... it has been very deliberate and thoughtful... methodical and stoic...

It means US misadventure which is an act of desperation already to hit the wall one more time... it means orange is that much closer to the inevitable. Only a narcissist would persist... but that ego has been smashed to its core... both in his maga and in his native MSG reception ... historic indeed.

Perhaps you meant another post. Anyway, the USAF and the IAF established air superiority over Iran in less than 24 hours. Nobody denies that.

3 ways to look at it.
1, Iran is afraid of nuclear retaliation
2, Iran feels like it can't do significant damage
3, I think most likely, Iran falsely believes the US is in charge rather than the other way around. Damaging PGCC damages the US economy while hitting the jews does no damage to the US.

But is the status quo in favor of Iran ? No. Because there is a naval blockade. And Israel is grabbing land of Lebanon like there is no tomorrow. While both these countries are regularly destroying iran's military and economic infrastructure.

What Iran need is to end this war once and for all. And only a decisive full scale attack by Iran will achieve that. Currently USA is not in any pressure to end the hostilities. It can keep dragging Iran in this war while restocking the supplies

Truth is US need to stop treating Iran like they have no cards to play. They are being treated as if they have Stone Age technology and are no threat so they can just be bullied in to submission. Sooner or later US leadership? Wakes up and realise this is not the case the better.
