However not helping Hezbullah will have consequences for Iran too. Hezbullah joined the war for Iran and Iran not doing enough to protect it means that Iran will lose its influence over it in coming years and that's exactly what Israelis want.

The asymmetric battle will continue in South Lebanon. Israelis love their buffer zones and will need some more pounding to realize how obselete they are in the era of drones. Hezbollah didn't join the war for Iran, they took advantage of the war to respond to over 1000 Israeli violations of the ceasefire.

Pakistan has used skillful diplomacy, military agreements and posturing , and it's land routes and ports to support Iran, so credit has to be given.

US is too broke to give Iran $300 bn for anything.
