I really don't know what the alternative is, PTI and PPP are incompetent.

PTI is a cult and a one man army and have nothing to show since 2014.

PPP is corrupt to Liberia and Congo levels. They are not even competent. Take one look at Karachi. They don't even seem to want to try. Last PPP tenure was a total shitshow.

There is no other option than PMLN. You would be wasting your time by giving another party control.

Where we should be taking Pakistani politics is continue this hybrid approach and give PMLN full control of the entire country.

Corruption goes away when everyone can eat, Pakistan needs to focus on making money and political stability.

Cultivating / Harnessing the young student leaders from PTI would be a good start.

They are energetic, more hardworking and less prone to corruption. Their support at grass roots level means that they are in touch with reality and somewhat answerable to their home base support.

But then, IK at most, should be the president not the PM. His symbolic support is more than enough and you can't expect him to think strategically / rationally.

All in all, without the planned 32 / 33 zone Division level governance model being discussed nowadays, its implementation is imperative for any change to take place at the grass roots level and felt by the public.

The provinces and the provincial tier of governance should be abolished completely. So that only federal and Division level is there.

Political and structural changes both go hand in hand. Anyone missing and then the other change is useless, no matter how good the intentions are.

Without Division level administration and politics, only the old horses will come forward, and Pakistan will remain stuck in the 20th century.

Time is moving fast and so should the changes be brought forward and done with fast / swiftly.

With soo much inflation, unemployment, poverty, taxation etc the poor man has nothing more to lose.

Why do you expect an empty stomach to stand in line, give you respect or obey the law ?

Old horses are more loyal to corrupt system and easily compromise. Unemployment and corruption is the mother of all social evil. Fortunately due to social media nothing is hidden anymore and youth is not interested in mainstream media and they are now aware of there rights and truth. They may not be but it seems more and more they are simply not interested in hollow leaders either.

They are living despite and agnostic of Pakistan’s existence as a state and system.
The preference is to leave no matter by hook or crook and gender is no longer a metric because parents of both genders want their children to leave.

Is that an indication that a consensus is emerging that Pakistan is to be abandoned and no longer worth saving or even fighting for?
