Get a call on my radio, WAR needs help moving their equipment to a parking garage after a concert in downtown Detroit. Immediately grabbed that opportunity.

Led them through an underground shortcut I knew. Enjoyed kicking it with them. Very cool and down to earth guys.

Man comes up to me at the bell stand. Asks how to get to a club in Detroit.

Smiled. Told Mr. Stewart to follow me. Picked the third cab in line. Told the cabbie he owed me one.

With my wife currently sidelined for awhile, I've been running errands including grocery shopping. The secret of my staying out of jail is to go early in the morning. Like shortly after the stores open. That way, I avoid the slow movers, the gawkers, and those who take their side of the aisle from the middle preventing everyone else from passing by.

Left the house this morning at 0700 and was done with the errands and home by 0830. That included a needed stop at Home Depot.
 
Getting hot this week. Air conditioner still sitting in it's box.

Heat index in the low 100Fs, still manageable.

Spent the weekend nursing a sick female cat. Friday morning, she was running a fever and hiding in a cabinet. She is pulling out of it, we just came back from a walk to the laundry mat and back.

Air-conditioning running wild 😜 over here. Fearing the electric bill for June
 
It got up to 85F here today. A couple of days of rain has helped.

There are a couple forest fires north of Sedona. Air support is operating out of the little airport in Prescott. The slurry tankers fly right over the house on their way to Sedona.
