I have paid into Social Security since 1979.

Against my will.

I've yet to start collecting. Financial advisor and I discussed several options. From a tax perspective, it was in my best interest at the time. Now that tax on SS has been removed under the BBB, may revisit. Then again, if the next administration is Democrat, they could move to reverse all that.
