That literally means nothing. Pakistan has sold more in JF-17s. The make up of most of these "exports" is Indian companies subcontracting parts. Stick to the point.

No, it is the installed capacity that has reached ~480. Lucknow plant has initial capacity of 80 missiles a year which will be expanded to 150 when NG variant comes. Which means total capacity is 480/yr to be expanded to 550/yr. Also there are chances the land given to BATL for free by Kerala govt would end up creating a 5th assembly line but i'm not so sure.




To make 500/yr you'll need huge order pipeline as factories always operate below their installed capacity. Current orderbook is ~$6bn including some exports so that is ~1,000 BrahMos missiles on order depending on variant.

So export to russia of 6 billion? Very msture setup then and russians must be happy withtheir deliveries. Explains why they asked india to produce S500 and not just huy it.

No, the $6bn orderbook is of BrahMos Aerospace as a company. They also are given the contract to produce the Short Turbofan Engine (STFE Manik) for Nirbhay missiles and are contractually involved in producing systems and components for ISRO's launch vehicles but that is a tinier part.
