Afghanistan: 'We have won the war, America has lost', say Taliban

True the Afghan Taliban were idiots, they should have just handed Osama Bin Laden over instead of asking for proof.

Unwise to stand up to a powerful empire like USA. But they did anyways.
So, by this admission, you are contradicting your own post #76.

No I am not. I am saying Afghan Taliban were a little foolish for standing up to an empire, but they had the right to ask for proof.

I agree with you, that Musharraf cooperated with USA. Otherwise Pakistan would have been in serious trouble economically. lol.
lol, economically lol, Can Pakistan match the military might of USA in Gulf countries let alone throughout the world, If Pakistan denied in 2001 our most weapons jets/tanks/radars/surface to air missiles etc etc were western origin they knows their weakness , they are/were our teacher to how to develop tactics/doctrines against the enemy and knows how to defeat these tactics/doctrines, they could destroyed Pakistan in hours if Pakistan didn't agree to give a passage to them to Afghanistan, and think twice before you start farting from your front side lol

Pakistan was compensated quite well by the US during the war for access to Afghanistan via Pakistan.

Pakistan should stop interfering with Afghan matter,
Respectfully what are you on about? This is such an insensitive and "L" take, read the room please.

We are at war with the Taliban... Kindly pick up a newspaper
as we see Today there is no use of supporting Hakani faction within Taliban.

Taliban itself is created inside Pakistan.
Your understanding on this subject is limited; I would strongly request you revisit the history of this region before you slander Pakistan any further.

Taliban were and always will remain a blight on the region.

respected brother, please be honest. others will see through if you are being selective with favourable facts to support an argument.

Afghan Taliban were not being coerced by Pakistani and Saudi officials to handover Osama "without" any proof. even before 911, his organisation was responsible for terrorist acts against Saudis and the west which his organisation had openly boasted about attacking.

Pakistani and Saudi Intelligence chiefs personally visited Kabul even offered to take Osama in protective custody instead of handing over to Americans but the Afghan Taliban leadership was not only oblivious to what was coming for them but also indifferent to Al Qaeda terrorism in the rest of the world because Al Qaeda was of great help to Taliban in their fight against Ahmed Shah Mehsood's Northern Alliance. the other reason was also their personal relations as well due to inter marriages as well.

they knew exactly the scope of operations of Osama Bin Laden and the reason he was hiding in Afghanistan. he was not there for preaching the effects of climate change or finding ways of renewable energy resources.

when Mullah Omar made an act of putting water on this head to "cool himself down" and threatened to have the Pakistani ISI chief Mehmood Afhen and Saudi chief Prince Turki Al Faisal executed for daring to ask for Osama .. then the Saudi prince called his bluff and left after saying Wasalam.. and the Pakistani chief also got up and told him that he just lost his best ally who had been supporting him to prevent the imminent American aggression.

but that's all history, Pakistan got bit again on the the butt by the Taliban.. by taking all the blame for its support and favour of Taliban / Afghanistan for decades and even assisting in American withdrawal and helping Taliban to sieze contrl over the promise that they will reign in the TTP and not let Indians use the land against Pakistan but this is exacltly what these Afghan Taliban have done.

there nothing noble about them.

I don't think so buddy.

When the Salala incident happened and Pakistan blocked the access, US had to use the Russian/Central Asian route which cost billions for just six months.

Of course the Russians took maximum advantage as they knew that the Americans had no other choice. Unfortunately, our leadership was not strong enough to demand a much higher price for logistical support than was provided for two decades.

Excellent point. USA did not compensate Pakistan enough for the War on Terrorism enough.

Anyways what is done is done. The Afghan Taliban have returned.

I am with you. I try to be honest.

But staying in Afghanistan for 20 years and Iraq for 10 years shows there was a hidden agenda by the satanic imperialists.

no doubt about that. American military industrial complex wants forever wars and it will continue to look for new war theatures.

I am only pointing out at our efforts we madein vain. And got played by Afghan Taliban.. we took all the blame and shame for them and in the end Afghan Taliban flatly refused to do anything about our TTP/ BLA problem.

Yes Pakistan had its own agenda as well and its own interests the way it shaped its policy towards Afghanistan ... one was a sizable Pashton population which it cant ignore. which ties its hands the way it treats the Afghans,

this ethnic issue makes the situation murky and its never going to be a black and white like it is for the rest of the world they can bomb the crap out of Afghanistan without any blowback. So, its a delicate balance of keeping its international obligations (financial support, international relations) and sentiments of its Pashton population that has ties with Afghans and doesnt care what Afghans do and who they give refuge to.
