Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Pray do explain how it was inflammatory, rhetoric, or a religious conversation. Childishly fallacious arguments will not suffice. Write me a warning so I can escalate it, I do not have access to the posts you delete.
Apologies. It was a religious topic (Islamic battle) but not inflammatory.

If Iran and the U.S. can’t agree on anything. Then Iran should just go nuclear and put this 30 year drama to rest.

I assume if Iran started dashing for bomb in June 2025 when the first war broke out then they should be close to having a few for testing by the end of the year.

trump positions as a populist. The number one issue of the populists is no more wars. So how can trump take orders from the neocons year after year in support of Middle East Wars from Afghanistan to Iraq to Libya and bombing Syria to bombing Iran and be a populist.

I knew trump was a total fraud after listening to this:

This means that the US is not the puppet of Israel, it means the entire populism of trump is lies. trump is a con artist, a fraudster. trump wanted wars against Israel's enemies for decades, and conned the stupid maga to believe America First was for peace, not Empire.

Well yeah, of course Trump is a con artist and a fraudster with some grifter mixed in.

Trump steaks? Trump water? Trump coins? Trump university? We could all go on and on and on

If iran wants to give a serious message right now, they should unilaterally withdraw from the NPT and demonstrate a tactical nuclear bomb under one of their mountains, enough with these bullsh*t talks, these child raping monsters sitting in america and israel will never allow an independent iran charting its own path, they will keep trying again and again until iran is subdued while killing thousands of innocent iranian folks in the process.

Remember the gaza genocide took place with full support of the democrats administration, so there is no hope of yanks changing their posture under a different admin, they all are cut from the same cloth, each US president gets approved in israel before the elections even take place.

Forget demonstrating a tactical nuke in the mountains, just launch one at the US. Should be pretty easy

Not every country is as blood thirsty as americans to kill scores of innocent people.

Trump on Iran:

"I'm likely to direct a strong strike at them again tonight. I'll give them a simple warning. We'll hit them hard tonight.”

Trump brazenly announcing he will attack Iran again tonight

Luckily for him IRI is the most reactive state in modern history and will just wait for the bombs to drop and Iranians to be killed before firing a few drones at empty air bases in Kuwait and Bahrain and promise that “next time” the response will be disproportionate and earth shattering

It looks like Iran achieved what it wanted - which is to shut down the tanker traffic through the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump's threats should be understood in this context. 👇

Oil tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz "essentially stopped"

Oil tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has “essentially stopped” as the 60-day ceasefire between the United States and Iran hangs in the balance.

“Traffic so far today appears to be completely halted,” wrote Jorge Leon, head of geopolitical analysis at research firm Rystad Energy, in a Wednesday note. It has “essentially stopped, which tells you more about risk perception right now than any statement from Washington or Tehran,” he added.

So far today, only four tankers have transited the strait, according to Kpler data.

Since the US and Iran agreed to a 60-day ceasefire on June 17, the daily average has been around 32 tankers, Naveen Das, a senior oil analyst at Kpler, told CNN. That’s almost triple the daily average seen between the start of the conflict in February and the June 17 agreement – though well below pre-war levels.

Opening the strait was a key condition for the US given its importance to the global energy market. Before the war, around one fifth of the world’s supply of oil and liquefied natural gas traversed the channel.

Global oil prices rose sharply on Wednesday as the prospect of the strait fully reopening became much less certain. Brent, the global oil benchmark, and West Texas Intermediate, the US benchmark, were both up around 5% by mid-morning ET.

Exactly here;
Iran will engage in dialogue with Oman while consulting with other Persian Gulf littoral states, in accordance with applicable international law and the sovereign rights of the Strait of Hormuz littoral states, to define future management and maritime services of the Strait of Hormuz

Which dialogue has been between Oman and Iran about the "safe passage"???. They just escorted them by territorial waters, avoiding the control of Irán.

Moreover you must check international law. Article 22 of UNCLOS on his fourth point says

"4. The coastal State (IRAN) shall clearly indicate such sea lanes and traffic separation schemes on charts to which due publicity shall be given."

So no dialogue, no fullfilling of international law (UNCLOS also infringed) NO safe passage.

Nothing about "control" in ANY of that!

Applicable international maritime law means accepting that is is NOT a local waterway, hence NOT under Iran's "control".

It would be in Iran's net interest to impose a real cost, and not accept ceasefire again so quickly, but grind the global economy properly down if it is attacked again.. Iran will need a change in approach given its current staged escalation management is not imposing deterrence ( imho ).

What net interest is that? To what extent can Iran exact this grind, the point where the cons of the closure will outweigh those of a more direct engagement for the US?

The deterrence had been achieved until Iran shot at those non-military boats. You can't blame this one on the US. I don't believe Iran can gain enough deterrence any time soon to enjoy impunity when attacking commercial ships in Omani waters.

Apologies. It was a religious topic (Islamic battle) but not inflammatory.

They were historic events. One party happened to be Muslim, making it a perfectly reasonable counter-argument to the childishly concocted, actual religious claim made by that member that "a true Muslim never retreats". A claim that Iran would do well to ignore. That post is still up there.

That is your understanding problem...

Dialogue... future MANAGEMENT.

But if your President doesn´t even recognize the basic rights of palestinians it is absurd to discuss with his servant about international law.

But don´t hide truth.

MANAGEMENT. CONTROL

Yeah yeah I know it's the usual hate America spiel. Anyway I was being sarcastic. I wouldn't want the us or (any other country for that matter) ever using a tactical nuke.

Unless of course someone launches a nuclear attack against them forst

⚡⭕️ Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Negotiating Delegation, Mr. Ismail Baqaei:

"And if you fear treachery from a people, throw [their treaty] back to them on equal terms. Indeed, Allah does not like traitors." (Al-Anfal, 58).

From the beginning, the Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States was not built on trust, but on a clear mechanism of "commitment for commitment," as there was no indication of good faith in the behavior of the other party.
Now, despite the clarification of Article 5 of this Memorandum of Understanding - which emphasizes the responsibility of the Islamic Republic of Iran in determining safe passage arrangements for ships through the Strait of Hormuz - the United States has challenged this article and effectively violated the structure of the agreement with its unilateral actions and aggressive attacks on Iran.
The Islamic Republic of Iran will firmly continue to protect its national interests and exercise its sovereignty.
