Nothing has been decided yet but our government is on his best behaviour. For instance; abandoning our historic policy of supporting Cuba during UN votes

Interesting.. Turkey didn't Abstain, it just decided to not be in the room when the vote was happening. lol

Turkey should reject F35

and also cancel the Eurofighter Typhoon deal

just because US offers doesn't mean Turkey should start begging for more

Turkey is on the path to Superpower status and it does not suite a rising Superpower to be treated like this or behave like this

KAAN is coming and a stop gap needs to be found

billions of dollars will leave Turkey and that money can be better spent on providing the acceleration of the KAAN and upgrading the F16 fleet even further with indigenous systems

F35 will cost a fortune to Turkey and will take Turkey backwards not forward

I am also against the F16 upgrade and F16 new jet to Pakistan
Turkey needs 4.5th generation and 5th generation planes till Kaan is inducted, they also need upgrades to F16s, and Usa engines for Kaan. So most likely Turkey will buy F35s (if available) and also do a deal for the engines for Kaan. This will also lead to Usa removing sanctions which will benefit Turkish economy, will generate billions. Usa benefit will be to keep Turkey in check so too much independence is not given to them, i am sure F35s will come with many strings attached.

Perhaps Türkiye should transfer the S-400 to Qatar and Saudi in exchange for funding to many Turkish military programs in development?

Once the transfer is complete, Turkey can rejoin the F-35 program per US law, and receive the already build 6 Turkish F-35s in storage since 2020 ASAP.

Once Turkish F-35s are on Turkish soil it will be a lot harder to limit support to the planes. Besides Turkey has learned what it needed to learn from the S-400 and if it can get funding to speed up the Siper program, it will be better for Turkey in the long run; F-35 experience will facilitate the development of the KAAN and attract even more Saudi and Qatar funding for that program.

They don't want it, and it creates a problem for them b/c they also rely on US equipment, which will be embargoed.

The only reasonable solution is it either gets dismantled and put into storage or gets transferred to Azerbaijan, but for any transfer, Russia has to approve.

The GCC May not want the problems from the US, but could lobby them to not get sanctioned, so their air defenses are back up ASAP and ready in case Iran fires another salvo their way, should things escalate in that direction.

It would be a test of the GCC lobby in DC though. One that they maybe able to pull off.

No, they have Patriots and THAAD, there is no need for S-400s from them. And the US wouldn't accept the S-400s deployed there as the same excuse of the F-35s being there would be used. Regardless, Russia would have to approve. Russians already tried to sell the S-400s to Saudi, it didn't go anywhere.

Turkey would love to give Pakistan the S-400s, the problem is Russia would not approve, b/c it would upset India which uses the S-400s and has a long relationship with the Russians.

I think Azerbaijan is the only probable transfer country. Its either that, or dismantle it or return it to Russia, which I don't want them to do. My ideal scenario would be to transfer it to Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan.

Keep it in Nakhchivan so it satisfies the conditions of it not being in Turkey, but if there is ever a need, you can bring it back into Turkey fairly easily. And it doesn't need to be disassembled, and the operators are still present as its not a decommissioned system. The issue with this one is still the Russia accepting the transfer.

Probably , Turkiye will not give the S-400 to another Country, but will keep it in storage at INCIRLIK Air Base , out of service and not actively used

Turkiye now has its own SIPER long range Air Defense Family and working with EUROSAM for SAMP-T ASTER-30 Block-1 NT

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

S400s ( 36 launchers with 190 Missiles ) will no longer be very important for Turkiye

Once we eliminate the USA's excuse regarding the S-400, there will be no legal obstacle to the F-35s coming to Turkiye

The US Congress will no longer be able to create an excuse

btw , We need F-35Bs for MUGEM Aircraft Carrier

Why did Turkey buy the S400 in the first place? It seemed like unnecessary risk.

Why did Turkey buy the S400 in the first place? It seemed like unnecessary risk.

Because of USA backed failed coup attempt by FETO in 2016

and USA did not sale PATRIOT to Turkiye
Even though Turkiye canceled its HQ-9 air defense system contract with China in 2015, the US did not keep its word

Turkiye had nothing to protect its airspace and in finally bought S400s when multi-national alliance threatened Turkiye in the Eastern Mediterranean and Syria

If zionists will place bombs in consumer pagers, it would be naïve to think that F35 wouldn't be compromised.

You see, the pager incident works to your advantage if it makes you diligent moving forward. Because it will mean the stunt they pulled was of relatively little gain if it made the entire world more alert to zionist games. However, if even after a stunt like that you keep operating as if its purely business as usual, then yeah you deserve to keep to getting exposed. You deserve to lose.

Despite the "theatre" between the USA and Israel, if its sold to Turkiye it will be with complete agreement between them despite what they show to the cameras.

And if your seriously considering the idea that war with Isreal is coming, you need to rapidly phase out all American and European military hardware. Ideally with your own domestic products or from a nation with enough industrial distance from USA, Isreal, Europe.
