The thing people miss sometimes is how shit Israel's geography is and how little strategic depth they have. Its a Small Area and largely flat and in an angle that in essence allows for full missile coverage over the entire country from the Sinai or from Jordan or Syria. The country in its longest is only around 400km. A 200km BVR missile from the Sinai, can shoot down a plane in Haifa without entering Israeli airspace. This is why they had previously been keen on denying Egypt BVR missiles and AWACS. Turkey has no such restrictions and would be happy to sell these to Egypt.

Egypt currently is militarizing the Sinai, since the Israelis and their involvement in the war in Gaza. Turkey can be a big help in this area.

I would say 80 engines, means 2 squadrons of a total of 32 jets, with the remaining 8 for spares, and maintenance drop-ins etc. I can't see how that is 40 jets if you do not factor in maintenance.

I don't even know if they beleive their own propaganda.

A lot of them, the khaleejis is specific those accusations have more to do with embarrassment over their own regimes being in bed secretly with Israel, so they deflect with stuff thats basically ancient history with Turkey(when it wasn't a regional hegemon and a smaller country) when it had relations with Israel under a different govt and different circumstances.

As for the Iranian trolls its more to do with bitterness over Syria or the growth of Turkey, and Iran's own setbacks, where anything that was a setback they blamed on a zionist matter, and which they blamed reflexively on Turkey.

The developments recently post 2024 have frankly dispelled many of those narratives, with the Israelis showing aggression against Turkey, attacking Syria, Zionists supporting the PKK(which Turkey is fighting), Zionists allying with their old friend Hijri, The PKK they were so friendly with trying to take part with the Israelis and Trump in an attack on Iran. As well as a lot of their paranoia about Syria invading Lebanon to fight Hezbollah on behalf of Israel being dismissed.
