Gwadar port is a naval project. It does not improve the lives of locals. I am actually proposing to save Pakistan by decreasing the army and Punjab budget and investing it where it will improve the lives of dissatisfied Pakistanis in KPK and Balochistan. A big portion of the army budget is spent on maintaining the luxurious lifestyle of officers and their families. It should be decreased and simple lifestyle promoted among them. Everything should not be on the house. Have you read about the economic benefit from export of Patsan grown in Bengal being transferred to West Pakistan? Have you read about two exchange rates for East and West Pakistan benefitting the West? The economic policies adopted by Ayub Khan and one sided development at the expense of the other were the root cause of Bengal debacle.

Thank you very much for your concern but Punjab/federal already gave away their share in 7th NFC, no question asked.

Baluchistan with population of less then Pindi district have budget of Rs1200 billion. Their share in tax generation? Closer to 0.

More money in to blackhole while you disarm army isn't going to save Pakistan.

Gwadar port and thousands of KM of highways are just that, billions of $ of projects are not going to improve lives of locals on its own. You need peace so investment can come that will lift local population. The infrastructure is there, but not investment. Because BLA like to blow up anyone working on roads, towers, etc

75 militants killed in Balochistan since July 5, says CM Bugti​

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Friday stated that a total of 75 terrorists had been killed since July 5 in various intelligence-based operations in the province.

In a post on social media platform X, CM Bugti said: “Operation Shaban is progressing successfully following the terrorist attack on Mangi Dam Police Station.”

He elaborated that 39 terrorists had been killed in Operation Shaban as a result of joint ground and air operations by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and Balochistan Police in rugged mountainous areas, while a total of 75 terrorists had been killed in various intelligence-based operations since July 5.

Bugti further said that a terrorist attack on Zehri Police Station in the Kachhar area of Balochistan had also been foiled today.

“The writ of the state will be maintained in Balochistan at any cost; terrorists cannot escape their fate,” he declared.

A day earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the country’s civil and military leadership had taken a “mutual and singular decision” to end terrorism after multiple major terrorist incidents in Balochistan in recent days.

He made the remarks at a meeting in Quetta of the Provincial Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, with Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir also present.
