Global Naval Power Rankings 2026 - US Navy Retains Top Ranking

US has 11 carriers but only 2-3 of them are combat ready. The rest are sitting at the dock waiting for maintenance and some of those aging carriers are approaching their retirement age, but new carriers are not ready yet. On paper US has 11 carriers but in practice it’s a different story.
We have studied our opponents for decades, while they have known nothing about us.

Did a simple question really get under your skin this badly? Instead of making a counterargument, you wrote an entire paragraph trying to psychoanalyse me. If you've got an actual argument, put it on the table. If not, stop hiding behind cheap one liners.
It takes a lot to get under my skin.

Try harder.

Just one Ohio class SSBN is practically a civilization ender.

I sleep a little better at night knowing that those subs are out there, just in case another country dares think they can launch a first strike, and get away with it.

In any case, the United States and China are leading the way compared to other countries. In the long-term trend, the United States is striving to maintain its scale, while China is rapidly catching up with the U.S. in scale due to its strong shipbuilding capabilities.

Doubtful.
IThe last joint exercise between China and the United States was held in Hawaii in the summer of 2013, and we have had no contact for 13 years.
A few days ago, we conducted a joint naval exercise with Russia, achieving data link sharing and tactical integration between the two countries' military forces. It was a very interesting training exercise............
