I'm not after him. I'm simply pointing out his incessant "rah rah" is really no different from some of the posters in the big thread.

A number of us look at the big picture while some focus simply on what they want to see.

What will these airstrikes achieve that the previous 13k airstrikes did not ? Can some of these journalists dare to ask the Pentagon this question ?
 
The Strait of Hormuz is open to all ships seeking to transit this international waterway legally. U.S. forces are positioned and ready to ensure the continued freedom of navigation, despite unjustified Iranian practices characterized by aggression, harassment, threats, and arbitrary declarations. Iran does not control the Strait, and maritime traffic is proceeding normally.

US is not even trying with these strikes. It feels like they are severely holding back when it comes to hitting Iran as if Iran is going to finally agree to some deal which they are not.

Orangeman should just be done with this and hit them with full force using B52s and other heavy hitters or we're just going to be doing this tit for tat strike for the foreseeable future. Maybe he's waiting for World Cup to end before hitting them hard because the current "love tap" campaign is not working.

Fear is love tap may turn into something nastier ( don't want to use the right word) and poodles nearby may get excited and join the party.

I'll just go ahead an be blunt then. This is going to end either with the US breaking Iran's will to fight or vice-versa. How that is accomplished is open for debate. Will it go nuclear? Doubtful. Could it go nuclear? There is always that possibility then again, Putin has been threatening such action for how long now?

This tit for tat approach is not going to end the conflict.

In spite of what the wishers and hopers on both sides believe, neither side is fully in control of the Strait. That is fact and not worth the debate. If you choose to disagree, feel free to follow your preferred PowerPoint postings on Twitter in order to feel better.

These strikes are a planned and sustained campaign to slowly remove the means to block or harass SoH traffic. They will work in due course, just like sanction taking time to bite really hard.

What's the rush? May be a decisive victory closer to the elections will have more of an effect on the midterms for the Republicans, for example.
