Kash Patel, the director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), hosted Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, describing ties between Pakistan and the US as “critical”.

Patel, in a post on X, said it was an “honour” to host Naqvi at the FBI headquarters and thanked Pakistan for its support in protecting US interests in the region.

“The FBI deeply appreciates their support as we protect US interests in the region,” he said.

He added that the two sides held “important discussions surrounding facilitating resources and specialised training to combat counterterrorism financing and cyber investigations, both at home and abroad.”

“Our partnership is critical and we look forward to more success ahead,” Patel said.

Please release our AH 1Z helicopter and ARAAM missiles. We have already paid the money.

Pakistan does not need the AH-1Z anymore - things have moved on, and they would create more problems than they solve.

China Z10 is considered as possible replacement which is good. But anything coming from Uncle Sam should be a welcome treat. Further, China may have taken big strides but it is a fact that Western technologies still excel.

Is there any update on ToT of Turk Atak helis

Why ? Makes no sense right now. Go with China for the WZ-10 to fill the capability gaps, replace older helicopter and then wait for the T-929. The AH-1Z is a strategic dead end for Pakistan especially given that it will be possible to electronically integrate the T-929(when it happens) and the WZ-10 into Pakistan's own datalinks, but not with the AH-1Z.

It is time people stop thinking in the context of single platforms, but move their minds to integrated data linked platforms.

Really surprised that there are some Pakistanis still wanting to purchase arms from the U.S. when they clearly come with strings attached. Having your arms industry will enable you to not depend on others whims or interests. You can pursue your foreign policy without the fear of getting cut off. Though American tech is top tier but also restricted so American Allies can go start wars on their own - which I understand why the U.S. would want it this way. Can’t have your pawns go off and start major wars and getting you sucked in - what Israel just did in regards to Iran.
