After decades I saw any sporting event. Wife and I went to a restaurant and watched yesterday's final. I have forgotten so much about Soccer/Football that had to ask some patrons about the extra time given and what would follow if no victory after the ET. LOL! We enjoyed the game but I was already noticing how one sided it looked with Spain dominating. They deserved to win.
We went to watch with no favorites. I didn't care to be affected by geopolitics, so may the best team wins. But given the recent moral stand the Spanish govt has taken, I am very pleased that Spain won.
Congrats Spain and to the Spain supporters here!

The problem is brother these old backward generation of centralised planning that refuses to invest in football. Pakistani youngsters love football I so on YouTube documentary in Lyari in Karachi kids wearing Argentina and Brazilian kits . It’s not that expensive to setup a domestic league from KPK to AJK / Baluchistan etc .it can be done.

Bro they just don't like football and they can't line their pockets, as football is the peoples game and cost little to play.

It's actually pretty disturbing when you think about how Argentina has been managed these past few years. We have witnessed teams that aren't exactly small but still smaller footballing powers than Argentina reach a final and actually put in a proper performance (Denmark in 1992, Greece in 2004, Portugal in 2016). Being solid and defensive against stronger opponents is fair enough but this Argentina side didn't even look like they were trying to score. And on top of that, they were leaning on all that "dark arts" stuff just to wind the other team up. They're a genuine football powerhouse and they simply shouldn't be dropping to that kind of approach or those kinds of tactics especially in the final in the first place.
