I loath the Wahhabis however the House of Saud historically have been slow, methodical and think things through. This sudden provocation and conflict over Yemen is not how they operate and in the short term all this actually plays into the Houthi/Iranian hands.
No something else is going on here or being plotted.

There was a day when Houthi’s and Saudi Arabia were allies to push against former President of Yemen Saleh.
But once Houthi’s got more ambitious and started to cozy up to Iran, MBS got scared. The last thing he wants is a Hezbollah on his borders stroking choas. So Saudi’s and UAE bankrolled the opposition.
The issue is Saudi Arabia doesn’t want Houthi’s in control of Yemen and want a power sharing agreement with the southern opposition that will prevent Iran from having a permanent foothold in Yemen like it does in Iraq and Lebanon.

Houthis aren’t even in the same league as Iran in quality ir quantity but this isn’t one of those things Saudis can hide this is showing Irans strategy is working if Saudis are running low or at a critical stage in interceptors everyone is this isn’t just a one off thing this is now an hourly occurrence Iran has t hit “150” out of 4000 like some people are pretending sorry no where near the truth and Houthis looking like they’re about to step up big……I’m thinking Hezbollah isn’t that far off

There will be a counter response and with more interceptors being depleted Naval wars will intensify and so will trade of blows until this ultimately ends up with ground conflicts in parts of region, imo.
