Genius in what way is KSA some imaginary "shield" for Israel? Have you ever looked at a world map?
Also which sane country is going to accept air violations of their air space?
On the contrary those small GCC states (who are left unharmed - a few useless drones and missiles are not going to change anything even remotely) are only going to strengthen their ties with the US and West. They have said so much publicly and already signed additional defense deals. The approach is retarded if that is the goal.
Nothing prevents the Iranian regime from targeting Israel. The reality is that they are incapable of doing so (as has been seen since 1979 despite all the barking) on a large scale (or to the degree that it will hurt Israel other than being mostly a nuisance - which the number of Israelis killed by Iran confirms which can practically be counted on 2 hands so far) despite Israel carpet bombing them freely. Now with a temporary break.
As I wrote in another thread, 1 RSAF squadron alone could destroy ALL of the oil and gas infrastructure in the region within 1 hour. And then what? Give backward terrorists drones and missiles (enough of them) and they will be able to target it as well.
Even 10 civilians armed with small drones could disrupt sea traffic by targeting sea traffic and oil tankers as well.
Nothing even remotely impressive about any of this modus operandi which is their strongest playing card to begin with (disrupting the oil and gas market and try to cause a global recession).
It is not the achievement you think it is.
To be honest KSA should get rid of those US bases be it logistics or directly supporting the aggression. That's makes you complicit. It's good that Saudi has exercised restrain and not fell head on into Zion trap for the region. Iran understands the same and has shown restrain.
Got to stop that assistance.
It's as simple as that.
Why bomb the houti airport? That was completely unwarranted.
I do believe that Iran and KSA ties can get better, and pave way for a new security architecture for middle east. That can even lead to the resolution of key issues such as Yemen.
Your last point is what is the definition of unconventional warfare.
Petrodollar is a vital pillar of US empire.
