Pakistan plans to command a surface fleet of at least 50 ships. That should be enough to defend Pakistani waters. It will be very tough for Pakistan to match India and it will require out of box strategy. Pakistan is little behind in building replacements for F-22P.
Pakistan needs to increase the production of Babur‑class (PN MILGEM) and design New indigenous Corvette based on MILGEM‑G / TF‑100 concepts.
Total: 14–16 corvettes, plus 12–16 FACs and 6–8 OPVs.

Current inventory:
Frigates: 9
Corvettes: 5

Under development/construction/sea trials:
Corvettes: 9 (3 Milgem, 6 Jinnah)
Gun Boats: 20
Pakistan should also integrate Gwadar into economic plans for many GCC Countries, vis a via a plan to build that rail corridor to China. Economic integration will make that port vital for GCC countries as well as to China, and make it more likely they can use their diplomatic pressure to prevent a blockade.
That is for them to decide; if they can bring Saudi, Qatar and China together to build such a secure corridor. Considering Saudi wants to contain Iran, it would be a way to do so. A cheaper way (upfront) but politically more costly way would be via Afghanistan. Less cost to the Saudi-US and Saudi-India relationship, while still creating the economic entanglement to protect the nation from a blockade. It's great plan and historically speaking, most of these plans only stay on paper in someone's desk, nothing actual happened. Chinese are not giving free meal. We will have to wait and see.
Economically, we are in a big hole and to dig ourselves out of it, will require some sacrifices. Is establishment willing to make that sacrifice?
Do u think gdp will stay same for india ?200 warships? Based on the cost of Chinese warships, the 054B costs 3 billion RMB, and the 052D costs 4 billion RMB. How much military budget would India need to prepare to build them?
If the cost of the 056A is 1 billion yuan and it weighs 1,400 tons, these warships can only defend coastal areas. How can they counter China's long-range naval capabilities?
Only fools won't control the spread of their hard earned cutting edge tech. The British did, the Americans, Japanese and Germans do now, so are Chinese starting to apply the same practices esp on hostile countries.Do u think gdp will stay same for india ?
Chinese gdp growth rate has hit bottleneck.
Due to Chinese control of some technology, countries has learnt a hard way not to be more dependent on china for critical techs , with time Chinese will come to know their exports will slow down because countries are trying to be self dependent.
No country has golden period for always , once it was Britain, then American (present ), in future Chinese, and Chinese golden period will also end .
Yes that is why , countries will find a replacement , we see many deals happening in rare earth sector independent of china, same goes for solar and batteries.Only fools won't control the spread of their hard earned cutting edge tech. India won't get easy advanced tech transfer from China and also from US, EU, Japan and the like. Good luck to your replacement endeavor.Yes that is why , countries will find a replacement , we see many deals happening in rare earth sector independent of china, same goes for solar and batteries.
We dont even need from china , we can get from others or build ourself we have best engineers , it is ur country that want access to indian market , we are already kicking u from the sectors wherever we can . Due to current geopolitical scenario we are engaging peaceful discussion. With each passing day we are creating industrial base slowly and slowly.India won't get easy advanced tech transfer from China and also from US, EU, Japan and the like. I think you misunderstood a point. In the international trade community, we require full payment before shipping orders from Indian customers. The Indian market is not very popular in China. We dont even need from china , we can get from others or build ourself we have best engineers , it is ur country that want access to indian market , we are already kicking u from the sectors wherever we can .
