CAIRO: The French, Egyptian and Jordanian foreign ministers have called for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” in Gaza and the release of all prisoners.

It clearly says they will agree to 1967 borders. Once again, there would be no Hamas or any other resistance group without occupation and oppression.

How would that work when they also say Palestine is indivisible and Israel will not be recognized? Do they expect to get the 1967 borders as an interim measure?

No, they are compromising with 1967 borders. They will not agree to anything till a sovereign state is established. You cannot expect Hamas to recognize Israel state when Israel doesn’t recognize a Palestinian one.

Guys sensitive topic - sentiments boiling over. You are both respected members and must clearly be aware when such news is resulting in death and hardship.
Please don’t disrespect by going off topic and bashing each other. Agree to disagree and move on - just a polite request to me and this thread - thanks in advance - let’s share the present day tragedy……

How long Izrael can keep it up is entirely dependent on how long the US will keep supplying them with the resources they need. When the flow of the tap ends, their war will also end not long after. In other words, this is as much on the US as it is on Izrael.

So are you saying that Hamas will accept Israel’s existence within 1967 borders if Gaza and West Bank are a Palestinian State? Is a two state solution acceptable to Hamas? Is there any document or reference that says that?

Where are the blue helmeted UN troops to provide safe conduct for aid trucks into Gaza? Also cut off all military supplies and financial support by all UN members immediately.

Let's make this real simple. Resistance groups like Hamas would not have any reason to exist if there is no occupation or oppression that they need to fight against.
Give Palestinians their due right for dignified self determination, and the Hamas problem will sort itself out.

No, Hamas did actually offer a ten-year truce (extendable) to the pre-1967 borders. Israel rejected the offer because it included the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and the West Bank. This happened after Hamas won the Palestinian elections.
