This is what I have been saying on this forum since October 7.

Argachi wouldn’t know if the security threat was still in the system. It’s basic counter espionage 101. He could have purposely been told that by higher ups so he would spread it (knowingly or unknowingly) to Iran’s enemies or to give the spy cell a false sense of security.

Either way the FM isn’t going to have the intelligence level clearance for such information without someone providing it to him. Even if Iran eliminated the threat it’s in Iran’s interest to feign ignorance in order to see how deep the infiltration goes.

Personally I think a couple of the spies actually died in the compound with Khamenai wether intentionally or not. Trump unknowingly leaked it when he said that Israel ended up killing our guys we wanted to negotiate who were also in a different area of the compound at the time of the attack.

You talk as if Iran had any sort of real counter-intelligence in the system.

Even Amir-Hossein Sabeti later, a few days after my post, that Araghchi was giving signal to the US to continue their decapitation strikes.

Didn't you see what Shahriari said on TV about Iran's oil production? He literally exposed a top confidential document discussed at the Security Council of the Parliament about Iran's oil production during the embargo.

I haven't checked the news in great detail recently, but from what it seems, Iran's attacks have become more effective against the US military and Saudi Arabia is also entering the game.

China as always is betraying Iran by reducing its oil imports and arming the Arabs.
Russia is trying her best to push Iran to fight Ukraine. Not that Zelensky doesn't deserve to be punished, Ukraine is a neo-Nazi shithole, but it's interesting how suddenly Russia has become so vocal about Iran's right to self defense.

The situation for Iran doesn't seem good. Oil prices have not passed the $100 resistance line because of China's market manipulation. Iran's proxies in the region are under pressure and Iran doesn't know how to handle it at the moment because it is fighting an existential war.

Iran has few months left to make this war final before the November elections. Trump will go all in after the elections. Iran has to fight an all-out war with Trump until then and finally goes nuclear, even though the chance of the later is very slim.

I agree it was something against Iranian interests.

But Iran government itself doesn't share that opinion
