Plenty of Indians think they are the same or slightly above China. They never even seen China at all so here is an opportunity to open their eyes a little.

China is for those tourists who loves modern cities, want to travel in bullet trains, want to see big beautiful malls and overall infrastructure.....

India is for those who loves natural beauty of coastal karnataka, kerala backwaters, beautiful Goa, beautyful hills of Kashmir, ladakh, uttarakhand, sikkim, beauty of meghalaya or Andaman and nicobar islands and Lakshadweep or want an adventurous jungle safaris in tadoba, Jim Corbett, Gir forests, sunderbans and many other places....

China is blessed with infrastructure and modern facilities whereas India is blessed with nature beauty.... no comparison....

India recorded 9.02 million (90.2 lakh) foreign tourist arrivals in 2025.

Even for us Turks. There's almost zero interest in India.

Still, think most would prefer Japan and South Korea though.

Yes young modern crowd that loves fast, shiny cities beautiful infrastructure would prefer China and I accept nobody will like to visit Indian big cities if they have chance to visit Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong etc....

But true nature lovers who wants beautiful beaches of karnataka, goa or kerala, beautiful hill stations of north and north east India, or adventures people who like to explore Indian jungles with full of animal and nature wealth and only country that is blessed with Tigers and lions together would prefer India over China....

We shouldn't compare with each other in this field....
