The government cracked down earlier on other Islamist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammad after pressure from the Financial Action Task Force, a global watchdog against terror financing.

This is incorrect. Lashkar Taiba is the new favourite, they are Saudia backed so automatically become Pakistan ally in the current environment, they are spreading fast in AJK to tackle the ethnic nationalists, and also same in Pakistan to tackle TTP types, they operate under Jamat Dawah and other names. Currently their throats are screaming Pakistan zindabad due to a chance of becoming the state new favourites, all until when international big players will want Jolani type in Pakistan and we will be back to square one. Jaish Mohammad is also operating.

Well secular clean shaven colonial faujis in power for the past 70 odd years have also managed the biggest failure in nation building that even mullahs can't even manage. Just next door, semi-primitive, 7th century dwelling illiterate Taliban mullahs are managing their country a lot better, providing food and fuel at a much lower prices to their people despite being land locked and war torn, than the highly educated, urbane and heavily punjabi accented english speaking secular colonial faujis of Pakistan.

Oh.....well....now that you mention it......I guess there's nothing that can be done about these laws, that were enacted by the British under pressure from the Mullahs of the time, and we must keep killing innocent people, based on anti-Islamic fake decrees, in extrajudicial public lynchings. Never mind the bearded and non-bearded rabid rats that pop up at every single one of them 78 years after the colonists left. Or the fact that the death penalty and life imprisonment were added in the 80s based on laughably falsified religious edicts, as later admitted by the prosecutor who presented them as evidence.

Didn't expect anymore from anyone who's ok with the killing of people over words that their feeble ego cannot handle and their absent knowledge of the religion that they pretend to defend cannot answer.

No one has any right to curb anyone from publishing, questioning, saying, or expressing anything as long as it doesn't bring material harm to anyone else, as per religion and common sense. If they hurt your itty bitty little feelings then you can always reach out to a toddler and learn about the 'sticks and stones'.

I have no insecurities about my religion or its ability to defend itself against any words....mostly because I don't fake my belief in it or the knowledge of it to only use it as a crutch against my insecurities. It has done perfectly well with over 1400 years of heated public debates with Non-Muslims in Muslim lands and without these laws or the liability that are Pakistanis.
