US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Raptor already setting a very low bar for winning or is it that you're tired of all that winning and saying... no more orange, we can't take it!

No, the US already won the war and completed its primary objectives. Priority now is defeating Iranian terror attacks on commercial shipping and the global economy.

You know that orange doesn't buy his own gas... so what would be the threshold that causes him pain? Stocks?
Cause he already said he doesn't care about impact of inflation on everyday American...
You're are a better spokes person for him anyways.

Sooooo American terror attacks on commercial shipping is there a difference I mean both are attacking civilian ships regardless if these folks are going to iranian ports or not just abiding by Irans rules can get them attacked…..also didn’t you just say irans closure of the Hormuz is not effecting anyone anymore that things are rosy Iran has no power

he doesnt seem to understand stocks skyrocket doesn’t mean much to average to poor American those people want to see costs lower on everything not steadily rising every year I guess raptor is a multimillionaire as much as he talks about stocks……naaaa I’m going to say he’s straight middle class like me

The new reality the brainwashed IRGC fanatics fail to see (or try to ignore):

12/08/2026: India buys 1.1 million tonnes of urea from Egypt, Algeria and Nigeria as Strait of Hormuz disruption drives up fertiliser costs: Business Insider Africa
So costs have skyrocketed because the strait isn’t closed but wide open and Iran has lost…..::not the best article to post for a guy who keeps on making jabs at Iran and saying they are ineffective this article makes the point that the longer this thing drags many nations are feeling the crunch it’s not just oil it’s many other things costs will keep rising and yes it’s the poor to average citizens that it will effect the most and those reaping the benefits of the war will make a few quick bucks it won’t go back to the citizens of those countries

That's all in your head.

The world saw the economic fallout from 11 September attacks in 2001, the 2008 banking crisis, the havoc caused by COVID-19 in 2020, and the biggest energy crisis in decades following the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The world simply carried on, adapting to each new reality.

The side effects of the US pummelling of Iran pale in comparison to those crises, though.

Maybe you've been watching Mad Max on repeat if you've imagining so much doom and gloom. 🤔

Hey you brought up the rise of costs while your parroting how the strait is open and Iran has been ineffective don’t post articles that make the other side of the debate look right safe bets are FOX News,Newsmax and Washington examiner are safe bets

Last night we had fun and enjoyed a fairly good amount of conversation eeeehhh lasted 24 hours 😆 night

5-9M b/d still exiting the Strait, while Iran is fully blockaded and Brent in the $80s. Irans strategy is a failed one. According to many here, Iran “controls the Strait” yet can’t control the millions of barrels still getting through nor the USN naval blockade.
If you were to do a little thing called math, you'd come to the stark reality what that means in terms of the number of tankers transiting the Strait now vs. prior to the last conflict.

You are simply denying reality.

LOL....so you're admitting then that Iran still possesses the capability, and more importantly, the will to fight.

Until Iran's will to fight is broken, they will fight.

US inflation report in today at 3.4% forJuly and stocks at record highs.

Iran isn’t inflicting anywhere near the economic damage it needs on the US to gain leverage over Trump.
You forgot to mention the CPI increased by 0.1%. If you exclude food and energy, the core rose by 0.2%.

Yes - the question is if "all this oil is successfully" being taken out of the Gulf, then why are the strategic reserves "still falling" and getting close to hitting the redline ?

That oil is not coming to the US. Rather, it is going to Asian markets.

In the US, depletion of the SPR is due to demand overseas as well as try to keep US gasoline and diesel prices low.

Sometime today, I will finally get around to updating my fuel logs and will report what the cost of fuel was for my trip back to Ohio.
