PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

We two are looking at it from different angles. So lets just leave it here.

Because you believe that PAF can buy 40 J-35 as well as more J-10C and JF17B3. Which isnt true. If it was, we would have bought more J-10C after 2022 and more JFB3 after 2024.
If I was u, I wouldn’t worry too much about what PAF can and cannot buy, they always seem to have enough to humiliate IAF. 2019 is a good example, 2025 is much better.

the rafales do have link 16 which is a protocol that can be used but can they use it to work with their own subsystems? if they could then they wouldn’t have asked for source codes for the wms. and other elements in the rafales. same case applies with pakistan too, but they have link 17 which was internally developed.

current indian rafale are f3r's it does not have the f4 variant yet, id assume future planes will be f4's. f5 will be brought in during the early 2030's and france wants them first before anyone. so they will be a possibility mid 2030's

future j10's will come in as more rafales come in, j10 production is slowing down there now with potential to move it to pakistan if the numbers required are large enough,

the j35 will come in mid 2030's, there not required
The issue wasn’t the Rafale DLs but India’s haste to employ them for political purposes.
More importantly , the Indians excel in MVPs or half products for funding but have failed to actually implement their IACCS at scale.

Technically in 2019 the IAF had DLs that would allow MKi to provide situational awareness to both each other and Mig-21 but they launched without it connecting to the net because their ground crew never got the procedures down.

This time they put M2ks and MKis on DL but it was decided that Rafale’s could work with GCI and their own picture well enough because RBE2 and Meteor gave them the edge.

More importantly, they had 1 A-50 and 1 Netra in the air then suddenly they get hit by targeted jamming and Mr Netra’s reach doesn’t work anymore - which is why you didn’t see them the entire conflict while the good ol Phalcon was left to rotate between two available airframes.

They went all in on Yes men and the result is easy to see. But they adapted well and started listening to their smart people - meanwhile, you are going more in on Yes men culture in aims to surpass them so one hopes some of these Yes men are smart.

Any source of highly classified Phalcon and Netra actions on Op Sindoor?

Bro, every time you reveal something, it brings more questions than answers.

I have two more if you don't mind. :geek:

So those Rafales with meteors still couldn't manage to target some PAF assets when PAF started shooting at them?

Are these works of PAF indigenous ground based jammers? I assumed phalcons also faced targeted jamming. So they performed better than India's indigenous Netra?

It is interesting that you say that the Netra could be jammed, but the A-50 could not be jammed? How come? Interesting.

This thread is derailed to Rafales/Sindoor - maybe the mods can move the messages to that thread before Deino has a right royal German styled fit ?

He is a man of few words and even fewer brain cells.
Hello mythbuster,Yasser76, Salza and Hussain.
I am a healthcare professional in Canada .I am not a stupid, idiot like you all and do not have useless time to keep posting on arms all the time.

Elegant words, spoken like a true "Healthcare Professional"

Or maybe just someone recently banned and using a dormant account venting their frustration, given away by the usual person liking the post....

You remember Command right - where you can see expected wpns rngs for systems.
Well, both sides do have the capability to see their estimation of weapons envelopes for the other side.

PAF flew specifically to keep out of Rafale’s envelopes while IAF did the same - except one side had a much better estimate of the other’s capabilities.

All I can say that it there was a lot of ground based jamming employed in conjunction with air based.

I never said the A-50 could not be
But that one asset disappeared post the first night while the other older asset was put to work.

Compare to 2019 when Netra was being employed more than Phalcon.

With so few airframes maybe it was more a serciability thing more then anything else. Assuming 3 Netras and 3 Phalcons. Safe to say 1 each is under some sort of repair, that leaves just two each, not enough for 24/7 coverage from one type. Maybe take into account crew availability per type too.

Margins are just too thin right now on their AEW force

Can you provide link of your awesome story please ?
You are welcome to download Air Forces monthly for the PaF account of A-50 deployment.

Unfortunately , my link cannot be shared with Bhaktora Indians - whose opinion on the story I really don’t care for

The employment patterns switched was the odd part - technically the Netra does have “better” systems onboard but post that first night it was either withdrawn further south to prep for something or kept away with the shock from PL-15 range.
