PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

We two are looking at it from different angles. So lets just leave it here.

Because you believe that PAF can buy 40 J-35 as well as more J-10C and JF17B3. Which isnt true. If it was, we would have bought more J-10C after 2022 and more JFB3 after 2024.
If I was u, I wouldn’t worry too much about what PAF can and cannot buy, they always seem to have enough to humiliate IAF. 2019 is a good example, 2025 is much better.

the rafales do have link 16 which is a protocol that can be used but can they use it to work with their own subsystems? if they could then they wouldn’t have asked for source codes for the wms. and other elements in the rafales. same case applies with pakistan too, but they have link 17 which was internally developed.

current indian rafale are f3r's it does not have the f4 variant yet, id assume future planes will be f4's. f5 will be brought in during the early 2030's and france wants them first before anyone. so they will be a possibility mid 2030's

future j10's will come in as more rafales come in, j10 production is slowing down there now with potential to move it to pakistan if the numbers required are large enough,

the j35 will come in mid 2030's, there not required
The issue wasn’t the Rafale DLs but India’s haste to employ them for political purposes.
More importantly , the Indians excel in MVPs or half products for funding but have failed to actually implement their IACCS at scale.

Technically in 2019 the IAF had DLs that would allow MKi to provide situational awareness to both each other and Mig-21 but they launched without it connecting to the net because their ground crew never got the procedures down.

This time they put M2ks and MKis on DL but it was decided that Rafale’s could work with GCI and their own picture well enough because RBE2 and Meteor gave them the edge.

More importantly, they had 1 A-50 and 1 Netra in the air then suddenly they get hit by targeted jamming and Mr Netra’s reach doesn’t work anymore - which is why you didn’t see them the entire conflict while the good ol Phalcon was left to rotate between two available airframes.

They went all in on Yes men and the result is easy to see. But they adapted well and started listening to their smart people - meanwhile, you are going more in on Yes men culture in aims to surpass them so one hopes some of these Yes men are smart.
