Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

The capability of the Yemeni Armed Forces' #drones is not limited to daytime only..Here too are precise nighttime strikes on "vehicles and barracks" belonging to the #Houthi_militia.The soldiers operating them were trained on this in various terrains and under the harshest conditions.#Yemen

Why would night time operations matter? FLIR cameras, etc. Program the drones with the target coordinates to be hit then press the launch button.

Houthi is done.

The ruggedness of Houthi barefoot soldiers will succumb to overwhelming drone warfare in a land war. It is unlikely that the Houthis can obtain sufficient supplies to resist this.

The next stage is AI robot warfare.
Resistance to Empire will be futile.

This would be the ideal solution for everyone involved. Give them autonomous rule at first but with military, economic, political etc. oversight.

Yemen has proven, time and time again, that it has no future as a strong nation state. There is a reason why the nation state (Yemen - not talking about ancient Yemen or ancient South Arabia as a whole - which was rarely ever fully unified as well for that matter) of Yemen was emerged in 1990.

The local Hadhramis would have a 1000 times better life (in every way) if they joined KSA. They are arguably closer to Najd as well than North Yemen.

If the leadership is bold in this regard, they need to make the Saudi Arabian presence in Yemen permanent and after a while propose a referendum if the Houthi terrorist cult is still around in North Yemen. Even if they are not.

90% + of all locals would vote for joining KSA without even thinking twice.

I would argue that most Yemenis would.

This would solve a lot of things as well.

After that work (long-term) to annex/unify with the remaining GCC.

If/when current regimes are gone - leadership across Arabia should work towards full unification once again. IMO, just a question of time.

is it me nothing actually advance or actually even accurate dropping an rpg from a far distance or bomb or whatever that was that fell FPV drones aren’t exactly high tech anymore but they get the job done with accuracy and lethality versus what I have seen from the Yemen army in the south I did see one supposed FPV attack with a drone that looked like it had hanger in front of it

The experiment of Yemen as a nation state has completely failed. It is time for KSA leadership to do what is right here and annex South and East Yemen.

Looks like AI and from what I am aware of there are no Saudi Arabian tanks within Yemen or many along the border for that matter. That is why 99.99% of all the Houthi terrorist cult updates and claims (even online) are always "Saudi Arabian backed" which is their code word for the official Yemeni army.

Very suspicious that there is no source or even claim where this supposed tank was hit.

Funny, zero such clips from the Houthis while there have been recently around 50 + clips (confirmed) of Yemeni army drone attacks on the Houthi terrorist cult (just this page alone shows many of the videos).

As fake as their imaginary weekly claims of some imaginary small oil tanks being hit in KSA - even next door border regions in Jizan and Najran.

Of course likely fake propaganda. Zero such Houthi claims online.

If that video is accurate (the claim is this being the Marib front) that is a Yemeni army tank, not a Saudi Arabian army tank. Also there is no Saudi Arabian military base in Marib to begin with. Usual Houthi terrorist cult propaganda.

I'm not so sure about that. The Sana government (AnsarAllah) doe also have drones in its possession.
