The glory days of South Asian hockey are dead. Others have left both teams far in the dust. Who even bothers with these "marquee fixtures" in the global F tier of hockey?

Still, I understand the Indian government sanctioned a pre-match handshake for this match, which is an improvement. Ideally, politicians and their agendas should be kept out of sports altogether though.
