Believe it or not, the longer that Iran maintains their current chokehold on the Strait of Hormuz, the longer that US and other countries' economies suffer. Gas and every other commodity are becoming expensive here in the US, and Trump and the Republican party can't go to the midterms congressional election with these high gas prices and everything else that is becoming extremely expensive. He has to find a way out of this unnecessary and war of choice.

The truth is oil was at $110-120 during the war and only $90 despite the strait being “closed”.

Reality is the U.S. is getting 7-10MBPD of oil out of Hormuz another 2M out of UAE pipeline and another 2M from Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, that
Means the shortfall in oil might be much lower than people think. Iran is not able to stem the flows, where as in the beginning of the war it was nearly 0 because ships were scared.

The world has adapted and the Strait is leaky. It’s backfiring on Iran because U.S. only signed the MOU to get the 100M barrels in tankers stuck out of the Persian Gulf and also finalize the Oman corridor plan.

Qalibaf got played by Trump and his team. Now Iran is under naval blockade AND its military and infrastructure got destroyed AND under more sanctions then when the war started.

Instead of waiting for America to break they should start attacking ships while they are at Port Fujairah, cracking down on strait transit, and instructing the houthis to direct there attacks at the port of Yanbu instead of Aramco facilities elsewhere.




To add this I would like to remind people that ships passing through the straight of hormuz can be seen by telescope on the narrowest part of the strait. You literally just need to shine a laser across the straight and watch it bounce back to track a ship.
