This is the start of the problem that is being high lighted, and rather than dismissing it out right, the Cypriots would do well to see how the same story played out with originally "small" numbers of jews buying land in Palestine, and then property and then the small numbers of "refugees" and look where it ended up for Palestinians. Either nip this in the bud now, or accept its trajectory and where it will take you.

I understand what you're saying and I agree 100% with you.

But the problem is,there are rumors and inaccuracies and things that are not clear. What do I mean? Some leftist or some disgruntled Cypriot or some guy writes an article or says something online. Turkish sites and media take it and repeat it 10x more. Then you get pro-Turkish(in effect Turkish) accounts like Crash Report,repeating it until it sounds like a fact.

I've seen the same thing with the "common Greek-Israeli brigade" and the "Purchase of Greek islands" stories.

Completely bogus stories,taken and repeated by Turkish websites to the point of certain members here reposting them and presenting them as facts.

The Greek Population of Cypus is not Large enough to where if there is a massive settlement that it will be inconsequential. There are only 700,000 Greeks on Cyprus and its all old people and in a population decline. And forget Cyprus, they are buying up land on the smaller strategic islands of Greece itself, and again its all old people and a declining population. You think that shit is sustainable the rate at which they are buying. You worried about tensions with Turkey over the water and underwater rock formations, while the jew is literally settling the islands. lol

In early 2006, the Israeli Foreign Ministry described its country's relations with Turkey as "perfect".[44] A joint Israeli-Palestinian industrial park was being developed under Turkey's aegis. Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas addressed the Grand National Assembly of Turkey a day apart. Peres described Turkey as an "important player in the Middle East in relation to the United States, Syria and the Palestinians, as well as us".[45] According to a report in the Jerusalem Post, a spokeswoman for the Syrian Foreign Ministry said that Turkey was serving as a "channel of communication" between Syria and Israel.[46]




Agreements have included air, sea, land and intelligence cooperation, manufacturing of aircraft, armaments and missiles, mutual military visits, training and exercises, dispatch of observers to oversee military exercises, staff exchanges and military know-how.[208]
