Somewhat similar to China not using the JF-17 as its own frontline fighter.

However, the basic difference is that BrahMos is ultimately intended to incorporate more Indian-made components, including the engine, seeker, electronics, and other critical systems.
China not using the JF-17 is not a relevant example here. Do you mean that P800 Oniks doesn't serve Russia requirement because Russians have (or are using) better missiles?

You didn't understand basic point.

China not using jf17 fighter plane because they don't need to use less capable aircraft when they already have more capable aircrafs available and can produce. Snd they have developed the jf17 aircraft as per requirements of PAF, it doesn't suits them well.

Russia Is not using Brahmos because they already have similar cruise missiles, and cruise missile are costly compared to what being are imported from North Korea..
