A few points by me

• Yes,the Israelis have experience in intercepting rockets,ballistic and cruise missiles and UAVs. They're actually among the top countries with the most experience in that.
• Yes,the Turks don't have experience in making AA systems,they're new to this.
• However,to be fair we can't judge the overall quality of a system by one destroyed launcher.
• Especially if that launcher was used by foreigners. Of course,you never know if it was actually Turkish crews manning the Sudani systems.
• Individual launchers and/or radars are often destroyed in wars. We've seen that in Nagorno-Karabakh,in Ukraine,in Libya,maybe even in Syria.

Generally not wrong. Designing, developing, testing a system one thing. Testing it on the battlefield is another thing. That's one of the reasons why Turkey become number 1 in the drone technologies. It's products tested on the battlefield continuously. So, with each iteration tech built on the feedback from the battlefield.

On the air defence although not like with UAVS but it also got tested in Somalia, Sudan against real threats. So, it will get better with time.

It is also true that Israel has much more experience in comparison with Turkey.

Another plus for the Turkish industry is that we have the whole ecosystem. December 2025 RSF deploys FK-2000, they manage to down 2-3 Akıncıs. In February 2026 Akıncı deploys a new developed glide bomb that can hunt FK-2000S from out of their range. Then RSF deploys their own UCAVs, Turkey develops it's Eren missile and begins to hunt down RSF drones. So Turkey can do these iterations very fast compared to other countries.

Man,do you have any more info about the AA battles in Sudan? I missed months of news and I can't go to the Sudan War thread now searching hundreds of pages.

Do you have any videos,articles,news...I don't know,just any info about more engagements of Chinese-made and Turkish-made AA systems there?

There are many videos, but i see them on twitter at the day of happening and don't archive them. I get what you want, a concantrated page to learn without wasting huge amounts of time, but unfortunently, they didn't made such thing.

At the past they would comply the strikes, like the Pantsir kills in Libya but they(youtubers) are not doing that anymore.

So ,directly comparing Israeli and Turkish air defense systems is not a fair approach in terms of industrial history and operational experience

Israel completed its layered air defense architecture decades ago thanks to billions of dollars in financial support from the USA and joint technology development programs. These systems have been tested under thousands of real rocket and missile attacks since the Gulf War 1991

Turkiye began deploying its developed Air Defense Systems this year, and they will further improve as they are tested in real combat situations

That guys's assessment is stupid. The only way to test is to go to a full on war. This doesn't mean the system is useless.

Secondly he cites a non integrated standalone point defense system operated by the sudanese as proof of something. Point to single system in the world that is nonintegrated what hasn't been hit, there are none, as we have seen with Israeli systems being hit, Western Systems in Ukraine being hit, Russians systems being hit, etc. Turkey has experience with UAVs against Air Defense Systems, so it know how the Air Defense systems should be ideally integrated and implemented.

I never said, i worked in TAI. I said i worked for in a project in TAI.

You don't know the project distribition process of TAI, MIT, Aselsan, Tubitak Sage... so just shut up and don't comment on the things that you don't know.

Another thing, you don't need to be in TAI for doing a project for them.

But a matter of fact i did my 3rd years internship at TAI.

As i said, i'm gonna write however i like and you can do nothing about it.

No, he is not wrong. Did we test our systems on Full-Scale war? But they are tested in multiple conflicts. Syria, Armenia, Libya, Sudan, Somalia and many others, also in operations against PKK. Terorists, even Selçuk Bayraktar says that experience is invaluable.

On the Hisar video, he is wrong though. One strike on Hisar doesn't show that the system is shit. But there is something lacking and you can be sure that Turkish engineers would be working on that defect.
