112 is a Type 052 destroyer.

There are only two Type 052 destroyers (112 and 113), and there are also two Type 052B destroyers (168 and 169).

The Type 052C was China’s first Aegis-equipped warship, and there are six of them.

There are currently at least 35 Type 052D/DL/DM destroyers, though the exact number is unclear.

Only starting with the Type 052C counts as a modern one because it has proper modern air defense capability.

The Type 052 and Type 052B don't have modern air defense capability.

The 052B destroyer was the first one to have medium range area air defense capability though with imported Russian system. The 052 destroyer was the first one to have modern point air defense capability. Chinese naval modernization started with type 052.
