After 30 years of service, the Chinese Navy decommissioned the first of Its Type 052 destroyers

112 is a Type 052 destroyer.

There are only two Type 052 destroyers (112 and 113), and there are also two Type 052B destroyers (168 and 169).

The Type 052C was China’s first Aegis-equipped warship, and there are six of them.

There are currently at least 35 Type 052D/DL/DM destroyers, though the exact number is unclear.

Only starting with the Type 052C counts as a modern one because it has proper modern air defense capability.

The Type 052 and Type 052B don't have modern air defense capability.

The Type 051C destroyer is a long-range air-defence destroyer. It is equipped with the advanced Russian S-300FM air defence missiles systems with 6 x 8 revolver-style VLS instead of Chinese HHQ 9 that came up later. When 051C are done with mid-life upgrades soon, the Russian S-300FM might be replaced with Chinese HHQ 9 to make them more modern lethal AWD. I read a report says that 052 Harbin will be docked in Changsha after retired, a surprise since it is not a port city.
