Clearly, Turkey lets Riyadh lead in many sectors in Syria.
Very interesting! The Turkish Military is already operating very deep in Syrian territory and far beyond the border region. This is from Meyadin in eastern Syria. This could be the reason for Israel's recent attack on that empty airbase in the north of the country.
It wasn't a demonstration of power but rather a desperate attempt to deter Turkey from further advancing in Syria.

The Turkish Armed Forces are continuing their efforts to establish a temporary bridge over the Euphrates River in Meyadin, Syria.
Following the crushing defeat suffered by PKK/PYD/YPG/PYD last year and their subsequent cowardly attacks on bridges, temporary bridges are being constructed in the region with TSK support to ease transportation.
I know. Yet, the Turkish military freely moves around Syria despite Israeli threats to bomb any Turkish movements beyond Northern Syria. Its to rebuild bridges, not necessarily and military basing presence. The Syrians asked for engineering help.
