I don't know the timeliness but they've been crazy for a while.

Democracy is the last nail in the coffin. The war is all about money and power. The central gov is too weak. They will kill other until dinosaurs.

Democracy that can save Myanmar. The rebellion becomes so strong after only the military purge their democracy and put Su Kyi on the jail (only recently put on house arrest due to ASEAN pressure)

If the gov lost people support, then it will be difficult to solve the already fractured Myanmar.

Democracy is the last thing on earth the people of Myanmar need. Or any less developed countries. People need peace, stability, food, housing, education, not ideology. Hitler came to power thru democracy. So Trump, Putin and thousands other psycho.

I think it will be hard for democracy to be successful in Myanmar because the Bamar people are the majority and always win in the votes while all the other ethnic groups become 2nd class citizens and have their resources stripped by the Bamar.

In India, which i definitely don't consider a successful country, there is no dominant ethnic group yet everyone still votes for their caste/gods/religion which makes progress of daily life for citizens very difficult.
