I think Turkey should go for a French style catapult solution and make a Naval KAAN. It will be big like the J-15, but with Catapults, I think it will be worth it, and then supplement it with drones whether like Kizilelma or CCA, sort of like a command aircraft.

Is it ok to post the link to another defense website defencehub dot live where some Turkish posters have discussed the 2 x TF-10000 Hurjet-X idea ? The thread also has an excellent image of the plane, is it ok to post it here? This plane can be great for a lot of countries who do not want to spend too much money on capex and operation, and also get MUM-T feature on the cheap. It can also be merged with JF17 PFX program.

This reportedly caused dissatisfaction in China and led China to restrict and delay the delivery of J-35 fighter jets to Pakistan.

If that is indeed the case, Pakistan should continue sharing relevant J-10C technologies with Türkiye, further supporting the aerospace industry of its fellow Muslim brotherly nation and contributing to the broader Muslim world.

Because Türkiye is a NATO member, it is difficult for it to obtain advanced technologies directly from China. As a Muslim country and an important bridge between China and the Muslim world, Pakistan should make full use of its unique position by transferring more advanced technologies acquired from China to Türkiye, thereby helping its Muslim brother country strengthen its defense industry.

For example, Pakistan could discreetly transfer to Türkiye technologies related to China’s PL-15 air-to-air missile, as well as advanced technologies involving fighter-jet radars, fighter engines, and other defense systems.

With the necessary modifications in place, it is technically possible for the KAAN Fighter Jet to take off from 300 m MUGEM Aircraft Carrier


If KAAN could take off only in stealth mode, carrying air to air missiles in its internal weapon bays, it would significantly reduce the Aircraft's takeoff weight

Pakistan should buy the J-35AE because I must inform you Rakesh, it worries the India soooo much and that is worth it alone since India has no immediate response to the J-35AE..

Pakistan can do both, as a high low package. Let KAAN develop, it will become more of a command aircraft directing CCAs and other drones like Kizillema, while the J-35 fits as a stopgap till then and is also able work independently.

It doesn't have to be EMALS, you can build steam catapults.

but if one is building proper Aircraft carriers, CATOBAR is a must, whether the french design or the Chinese design or the US design. You cannot launch aircraft with significant munitions off a STOBAR carrier, its one of the failures of the Russian design, the Su-33 could not launch with its full load, and only light aircraft could be used. its a severe limitation of sorties and the amount of air power one can put on.

I think Turkey can go down the French route, and long term should pursue that.
