India Vs China Tourism Westerner perspective

China has a massive range of landscapes and climates, spanning nearly all major terrestrial biomes found around the world. [1]

Climate Zones and Biomes
    • Tropical and Subtropical: Southern regions like Xishuangbanna and Hainan Island contain lush tropical rainforests and seasonal monsoon forests. [1, 2]
    • Temperate Forests: Large parts of eastern and northeastern China feature broadleaf deciduous and mixed forests. [1, 2]
    • Deserts and Arid Lands: Vast areas in the north and west, including the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts, form massive desert and xeric shrubland biomes. [1, 2, 3]
    • Grasslands and Steppes: Expansive steppes and prairies cover wide sections of Inner Mongolia and northern high plains. [1, 2]
    • Alpine and Tundra: High-altitude regions, such as the Tibetan Plateau, feature alpine tundra and cold mountain environments. [1, 2, 3]

Biodiversity and Scale
    • Mega-Biodiverse: China ranks among the top mega-biodiverse countries globally, supporting over 35,000 species of higher plants and thousands of vertebrate species. [1]
    • Geographic Diversity: Opinions are mixed on whether China is the absolute most geographically diverse country, but researchers widely classify its ecosystems into anywhere from 8 to 18 distinct vegetation biomes depending on the scientific model used. [1, 2, 3]

These are real natural rainbow landscape formations on the Chinese mountains, not what Indians believe to be artificial spray paint.

Same applies to India.... massive landmass with greenery, deserts, icey mountains, long beautiful beaches covering country from 3 sides, 1000s of islands with lush green beauty.... wealthy jungle life and an honor of being only country in the world of being home for lions and Tigers both.... it's not good to compare between China and India in this field.... we are equals.....
