Makkah Defence Alliance: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

With all due respect, you unilaterally sign military pacts that could potentially be used to directly target them and their interests in the region, what do you expect them to do? Roll out the red carpet?

Doesn't your side sit with Hindutva India to sign Chabahar deal?

That ship has sailed.

And it had limited shelf life

The Iranians are pushing for maximiiist outcomes, pushing everyone's equilibrium , and that's just unavoidable the longer this goes on

Can we not run away from the state of Gaza, the state of Lebanon, sure Irans heft has multipled but that's not true for the bystanders and weaker players, so what's the goal here again ?

Sailed?
How?
Saudis have been at it for over a decade now... coalition with Emirates and mercenaries from Africa... both under Saudi proxy and Emirates... until they had a go at each other when Emirates sought to sneak one up on Saudis.
A reminder, Saudis only relented last time when Houthis attacked oil fields and then maintained an embargo on them... which itself is an act of war... besides there was no need to attack that plane and divert it... but A FLEX! A flex that fell back on their own face...

There is no equation where Saudis come out on top by escalating with Houthis... they have less area and over three quarters of all Yemeni population. Once the Saudi front collapses it will only be up to Houthis on where they stop and that is not an outcome anyone wants realized... not right now...
Saudis by adding Pakistan in the mix only admit their own vulnerability and inability to eat crow ... that is be humble enough to understand the equation.

Everyone else is blameless in society?

Taliban style brain rot

The isi made us backwards etc etc

Lol hush, simple explanations deserve simple put down

Everything has already been discussed in detail across countless posts. From the assassination of Liaquat Ali Khan all the way to today’s geopolitical and economic crisis, the pattern is visible for anyone willing to look. Pakistan’s history is right there, open, documented, and painful and it shows exactly who made which decisions, and how those decisions shaped the country.

If you go through that history, you see the same mistakes repeating again and again:
  • the fall of Dhaka,
  • the execution of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto,
  • the martial laws of Zia and Musharraf,
  • the assassination of Benazir Bhutto,
  • the protection of corrupt political mafias,
  • the feudal mindset that still dominates power,
  • and the endless cycle of NROs that wiped away accountability every time it mattered.
It’s all there, not hidden, not secret (even who killed Benizer and on who's order) just waiting for anyone to read, reflect, and understand how deeply these blunders have shaped Pakistan’s present.

Honestly, I’d suggest going through the forum. The discussions, the timelines, the analysis, they help you see the bigger picture of how we got here.

You really can’t blame the Awam. They were never the ones who mattered to the establishment, and deep down people have felt that for years. What we call “democracy” has turned into a performance, scripted scenes, staged debates, and carefully managed theatrics designed to keep the public busy while real power operates behind the curtain.

All of this news coverage, TV discussions, political talk shows, and endless panel debates, it’s all part of the same staged drama. The same actors, the same narratives, the same cycle repeating over and over. It gives people the illusion of choice, the illusion of accountability, the illusion of debate.

But the curtain has already dropped. The illusion is gone. And most of us can see exactly who’s been running this puppet show all along.

That's why I call Pakistan "The Matrix". Not from the movie, but a darker "Matrix" and majority of people in this forum are part of that matrix because to them Pakistan needs a "Masiha" and "Chosen One" and Neo to save them.

I am open to discussion, debate to anyone, in this forum, on the internet, on YouTube channel or on TV. Let's talk about what is important and what matters, not some gibberish.

We Sunnis have our own flaws, and we won't pretend to be perfect. In fact, as Muslims, we have failed miserably to protect and speak up for Palestine and other Islamic causes. We won't be spared on the day of judgment either.

Having said that, Iran is acting out of its own interests. There is not a shred of doubt about that. We are often lectured that the Sunni world is cowardly and complicit, yet Iran shows similar tendencies when it comes to its dealings with countries like India.
Iran's strategic weakness is that which was once believed to be its strategic strength - irregulars.

The stuttering demise of Hamas and Hezbollah, albeit with some brief moments of concerted resistance, should cause Tehran's policy makers to review this overall strategic approach of the IR. It simply has not worked. Hamas, Hezbollah (less so) and Ansarullah have all to varying degrees actually caused more harm than good to Tehran. Even Bashar's legacy is questionable, despite being in charge of a functional nation state, unlike the others.

Don't get me wrong. The fundamental premise of these organisations to resist zionist hegemony was always a rational and welcome objective, but the means have proven to be a strategic failure. I can understand that Iran now needs to stand by its assets but this has ultimately put Iran in the precarious position it is now in.

There is no long term planning or consideration here in terms of how to effect genuine change in the Middle East and Palestine, just hubris. I am reminded of the most recent "Islamic empire", the Ottoman Empire, in contrast, built from scratch through slow and painstaking statecraft, technology, and consolidated military conquest, not through proxies and hopeful bellicosity.

Iran and sunni nations alike should have learned a lot from the events of the last 5 years. Recklessness and attempts at quick remedies achieve nothing of consequence in the long term.

The situation overall will now get worse before it gets better.

Go earn your IMF/World Bank/deferred oil bailouts.
Pay taxes then. Become a concerned active citizen, obey laws and take pride in doing things properly.... Then talk

Or cry about the one institution that resembles an institution

Needing a cult figure to rescue you is a sure sign of anemic thinking and laziness

The afghans blame the Pakistani for their own societal ineptitude.... Naaa it's them as people and they fight for backwardness

No, my side is a country whose leadership should be tirelessy working day and night to develope itself rather than appeasing pedos like trump and rent its army to kill fellow muslims in the hopes that we might get a favorable loan from imf to pay our bills.

You haven't answered my question.

Why does Iran provide Chabahar presence to Hindutva India?

So you agree with me then from above post.

Not buying the lack of societal accountability, which everyone gives a free pass to.

Anyway let's not derail thread

Houthis are on respirator and running out of oxygen... reality is a funny bitch.

Pakistan will get the loans regardless lol

And the imf will happily give it, the rest is just noise around it

What institution ? The army breaks it's own oath of loyalty to the Constitution, meddles in politics and the economy and turns the country into a rent a state. This is accurately called an armed , unaccountable mafia.

Which dictator was punished for his crimes and corruption that wardi supporters shamelessly talk about paying taxes and obeying the law ? Lol

What business does Pakistan have in Yemen except the army policy of renting the state out to rich foreigners ? none.

This is not entirely the fault of the Houthis. The Houthis have done some wonderful things when the rest of us were spectators.

Unfortunately the Houthis are just being used. Iran needs to come to its senses and sit down with KSA. If Iran continues to agitate the Saudis, it won't serve any good.
