No matter how much people in your country want to impose or defend the 2-nation theory on Indians - the truth will prevail.

The inference that there is some religious undercurrent to Indian state level behaviour is entirely reasonable.

You called your operation "Sindoor", in case you needed reminding.

We have been informed by some sources, including tweets from Modi himself, (though others contradict) that Sindoor has continued on the cricket pitch. The venerable @El Sidd raises a valid point. Refute it with evidence instead of besmirching the good name of the messenger.

If your personal opinion is that religious dogma and cricket have remained separate in India, then you are entitled to that view, but as far as we know, it is contrary to that of the leader of the Indian state and its armed forces.

If religious dogma has nothing to do with cricket matches, Modi himself ought to retract his former statements conflating the religious substance of sindoor with a cricket result.

If politics has nothing to do with cricket matches, assurances should be given to Suryakumar Yadav and others that he is there to play cricket and to compete as an athlete, not to be "in agreement with the government" and to continue state policy on the cricket pitch.

In peacetime also? Very good if you are sure about this. Make the link if you wish and be consistent instead of this "pick and choose" approach. Simply do not play us at all. It is hypocrisy to play the "enemy" team when your national ideology opposes ours, even in peacetime.

Iran boycotts Israel in sports in the same way. So did USSR and USA previously.

To earn money (and to even let Pakistan earn money) off the spilled sindoor of hindu widows is hypocrisy at its finest.
