Well it still shows US long range military capabilities are key.
You've got bombers and other aircraft taking off well over the horizon (almost at will) and basically nothing happened to them.

Shockingly ( ) none of the 3 aircraft carriers got close enough to shore to be significantly targeted...which coincidentally has ALWAYS been the strategy since WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, yadda yadda yadda.

Why is everything a drop in the bucket regarding Iranian attacks I mean if we add up every single country with their own material losses this is including after the pentagon report that only went from February 28 to June 30 do we really believe everything is just a drop in the bucket hundreds of structures destroyed or damage dozens of aircraft god knows how many vehicles and everything in between we can keep repeating it’s a drop in the bucket but it’s a very very costly drop in the bucket

Saudi export disruptions help drive some physical oil cargoes above $130 a barrel​

Prices for some physical oil cargoes in Europe have topped $130 a barrel on Tuesday as tensions in the Middle East fester and a key Saudi pipeline remains offline since an attack last week, according to trade sources cited by Reuters, approaching record highs seen in April.

Saudi Arabia has suspended late-September cargo shipments to European buyers after an attack on its East-West Pipeline last week forced it to cancel loadings from the Red Sea port of Yanbu,

North Sea oil is being viewed as a potential alternative to Saudi crude, but according to LSEG data North Sea Forties crude has jumped to $136.75 a barrel, nearing an all-time high from April at the height of the Iran war.

It's essentially a drop in the bucket because the weapons and or planes that Iran has damaged are minuscule compared to the size of the fleet of the usn and Air Force.

I mean I'm sorry if that bothers you but it's just a fact. It's war and they're going to be losses. The US has losses, but Iran has a lot more losses

Certainly not irans fault considering they're going up against a military superpower.

But I understand that Iran has to take every victory it can get.

As of today, the Dow has been down three days straight. Down almost 1200 points now. Oil markets are particularly unstable due to the latest events in the Persian Gulf as well as Houthi advances in Yemen.

I insure logistics companies and see costs on the P/L and other financial reports. Have one client who recently parked 20 trucks out of his fleet of 50. Some business isn't worth the cost, and those who had fixed-rate, long-term contracts for hauling would rather burn their trucks. The fuel averages 30% of a carrier's total operating expense; now they're seeing upwards of 50%.

Doing mental math, this would put a carrier in the negative- a -10%/-15% loss.
