It's essentially a drop in the bucket
Not Iran, China yesoh those pesky US carriers will be doomed if they take on Iran!!"
Not Iran, China yes
And Chinese aircraft carriers can be sunk too. You might want to remember thatNot Iran, China yes
Why is everything a drop in the bucket regarding Iranian attacks I mean if we add up every single country with their own material losses this is including after the pentagon report that only went from February 28 to June 30 do we really believe everything is just a drop in the bucket hundreds of structures destroyed or damage dozens of aircraft god knows how many vehicles and everything in between we can keep repeating it’s a drop in the bucket but it’s a very very costly drop in the bucketIt's essentially a drop in the bucket

As of today, the Dow has been down three days straight. Down almost 1200 points now. Oil markets are particularly unstable due to the latest events in the Persian Gulf as well as Houthi advances in Yemen.
Remember my earlier posts regarding the start of the US harvest.
You work in logistics. Davey works in a role in support of logistics. I retired from logistics. We get it.
So that fuel cost isn't another 20 bucks at the pump?I insure logistics companies and see costs on the P/L and other financial reports. Have one client who recently parked 20 trucks out of his fleet of 50. Some business isn't worth the cost, and those who had fixed-rate, long-term contracts for hauling would rather burn their trucks. The fuel averages 30% of a carrier's total operating expense; now they're seeing upwards of 50%.
Doing mental math, this would put a carrier in the negative- a -10%/-15% loss.
Doesn’t actually bother me just saying a very expensive drop in the bucket and many of these expensive items being used like interceptors or destroyed like radars aren’t going to be replaced overnight. It's essentially a drop in the bucket because the weapons and or planes that Iran has damaged are minuscule compared to the size of the fleet of the usn and Air Force.
I mean I'm sorry if that bothers you but it's just a fact. It's war and they're going to be losses. The US has losses, but Iran has a lot more losses
Certainly not irans fault considering they're going up against a military superpower.
But I understand that Iran has to take every victory it can get.
They can indeed, I find AC's white elephants when it comes to states like the US and ChinaAnd Chinese aircraft carriers can be sunk too. You might want to remember that

Parking 40% of a fleet is significant. If I was still doing one of my old jobs at DHL, I might be having a breakdown right about now. 100% of our ground transportation is 3rd party.
FWIW, just came from Costco. Gasoline is up another $0.04 per gallon from this time on Friday. Now, to some here, they don't care because the US is stacking Ws left and right. I saw a protest downtown this afternoon because of the high prices. And I live in a solid red area.
You and I could indeed have some good conversations about this.I wish it were another $20 bucks at the pump, as some here think it is; I feel the small carriers could sell out and allow larger carriers to consolidate. The larger carriers would also have the ability to rail convert more easily, allowing them to survive.
If within the next six months we don't reverse course I do see the small carriers shut down or merging.
With ACs, you are literally taking the war inside the enemy's house. They can indeed, I find AC's white elephants when it comes to states like the US and China
