My Windows PC is always $%#@!& rebooting due to some update. Drives me insane. They are a ridiculous 🤡. Hugs my Mac.

Update KB5129195 lands in a hurry to undo September's damage, though Radeon owners seeing black screens and freezes apparently get nothing out of it.

TL;DR: Microsoft issued out-of-band Windows 11 fixes (KB5129195 for 24H2/25H2, KB5129194 for 26H1) to address Remote Desktop, Hyper-V Plan9 sharing, multichannel USB audio, and a User‑Mode Power Service elevation issue; Radeon GPU black screens, driver timeouts, explorer/File History problems and one USB audio bug remain unaddressed.

Switch your windows pc to Linux, something like : https://cachyos.org/

Simply no need for windows anymore given how everything is in the cloud or online these days.

There are a few things for which I have no choice but to use Windoze. Otherwise, this circa 2009 1st generation i7 with 16Gb running Mint works for everything else I do.

F windows. Pile of crap. I love my M4. If it weren't for gaming, Windows would be dead. I'ce recently converted to Cachy as well.

But...but..but...Macs are overpriced machines for blind Apple lovers.

Yeah, I wouldn't be one if Windows didn't F-me-over so many times.

Macs just work..like all the time..enough said.
Not dealing with aggravation is worth every extra penny.

I am on my fourth MacBook now. Third one messed up badly. Sure, there are a few downsides, but overall it has been a comfortable experience. Stability is all that matters. Daily updates, patches and prolonged reboots that come with Windows are senseless. Maybe they are just inserting spyware and scanning data with these.

**** windows.
I shifted to CACHY-OS a year back. Never crashed on me despite when I open HUNDREDS of tabs on brave. Gives me 15% more fps on CS2. Can do basic coding and app development. thankfully I dont play other unsupported multiplayer. so don't miss much.

But i can see that those games are soon to arrive on linux too.
LIST IS LONG.. AND DELAYING LINUX SUPPORT IS PATHETIC ..

From gpt-
Major Multiplayer Games That Do Not Work on Linux
    • Fortnite: Uses proprietary anti-cheat that Epic Games refuses to enable for Linux.
    • Valorant: Relies on Riot Games' Vanguard kernel-level anti-cheat.
    • Call of Duty: Modern titles block Linux via the Ricochet anti-cheat system.
    • Destiny 2: Explicitly unsupported; Bungie actively bans players attempting to run it on Linux.
    • League of Legends: Uses a kernel-level anti-cheat system (Vanguard) that blocks Linux environments.
    • Apex Legends: Dropped Linux/Steam Deck compatibility when updating its anti-cheat.
    • Rainbow Six Siege / Battlefield series: Incompatible due to strict kernel-level security requirements. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

Cults are a problem on both sides of the camp. If it gets my work done, its getting my money every time. I've been a PC guy since I got my first ever in 1995. But Mac is the way to go for work.
